Facilitating the organisation of this event in partnership between IOM Ireland and Mother Tongues has been an honour.

A huge thanks to all the artists who participated in Contatto during the past two years.

Getting to know, interview and photograph them has been the most exciting part of these two weird years.

IOM Ireland, together with , will celebrate International Migrants Day with the event “Expressions of Identity”.

Artists from different parts of the world will participate in a panel discussion on how migrant artists are shaping the Irish cultural scene. The panel will see the participation of Tatiana dos Santos (), Mother Tongues' Transcultural Programmes Coordinator and Trainer, who will talk about how Mother Tongues is helping to foster an equal environment for migrant artists.

At the event, poet Sree Sen will read some verses from her latest collection "Cracked Asphalt", artworks by photographer Aarif Amod will be on exhibition and the singer & songwriter Ines Khai, in collaboration with Aarif Amod, will surprise us with a music performance.

Refreshments will be available afterwards for all attendees.
