From the DCU to the national airwaves! We are delighted to see CeolConnect, developed by DCU Business Studies graduates Eoghan Matthews, Hugh Prendergast and Sam Owens, attracting media attention following its recent launch.

The idea for was developed through the New Enterprise Development module before the team pitched it at the DCU Dragons’ Den in April. The platform aims to transform how live music is booked by connecting venues directly with musicians and bringing bookings, scheduling, communication and payments together in one place.

In recent weeks, the team’s entrepreneurial journey has been featured by The Irish Times, the Irish Independent, Hot Press and the Leitrim Observer. Eoghan has also taken to the airwaves to discuss the business on RTÉ Radio 1’s Oliver Callan Show, RTÉ 2FM, Newstalk’s Breakfast Business with Joe Lynam and iRadio.

With almost 500 musicians and more than 150 venues already registered, it is fantastic to see a student idea evolve into a growing Irish technology start-up addressing a real challenge within the live music industry.

Congratulations to Eoghan, Hugh and Sam on the launch and on the outstanding momentum they are building. We look forward to following the next stage of the CeolConnect journey.
