Massive congratulations 👏 to two of our Directors (Ronan and Daragh) for completing what is widely regarded as one of the toughest one-day human endurance events in the world. A full distance Ironman, in Cascais, Portgual on 23rd October. 🏊‍♂️🚵‍♂️🏃‍♂️🏆🎖💪

The morning started with a 3.8km open-sea swim around the bay of Cascais, immediately followed by a 180km bike ride and finished off with a full marathon (42km). All in under 16 hours! We’re pleased to say they’re both still in one piece and speculating on what the next challenge might be!

One of the things we missed the most during the pandemic was the loss of sports, both to watch and to compete in. We are massive supporters of grassroots football and are proud to be a sponsor of St Joseph’s Boys A.F.C. under 12 inter team. It has been a delight to see the lads back out on the pitch and life returning to normal for them. This past weekend they took part in a national tournament in Belfast, coming in a very respectable 3rd place in the Belfast Cup. Well done boys! ⚽️

After years of planning and work behind the scenes, Ireland’s largest children’s healthcare charities have now merged to become a unified service called the Children’s Health Foundation. As a result of our impressive campaigns with the two main parties last year, Temple Street Foundation and CMRF Crumlin, we were delighted to be chosen as the fundraising partner for this exciting campaign across the country, which we are chomping at the bit to start on 8th June.😀

After a long, unexpected lockdown, we are delighted to be finalising plans for reopening our doors.

• Risks assessments carried out and actioned – check
• PPE delivered and ready to distribute to teams – check

In this moment in time, keeping your balance & taking care of your Mental Health is so important right now. So here are 5 mental health tips sourced from Mental Health Ireland & edited to suit self-isolation right now. So here it is:

* Connect. With the people around you. (Connect with friends across the world, you haven't been in touch with in a while, connect with the elderly & give them a call, to let them know you're thinking of them.)
* Be active. Go for a walk or run. (Use your local estate, to get some fresh air & connect with nature, or use Youtube exercise videos from home.)
* Take notice. Be curious. (Being mindful & present, helps take your mind off of being overwhelmed, if you feel that way right now.)
* Keep learning. Try something new. (Read up on or learn a new skill or develop. Progress in a hobby that you already have, that you can do from home.)
* Give. Do something nice for a friend, or a stranger. (There is a limited amount that we can do right now, that doesn't require interaction, but checking in with people right now & staying positive is definitely key.)
