Huge congratulations to our intern, Gbemi Arubi, on his first-ever call-up to the Ireland Under-21 squad! 🇮🇪⚽️

When he’s not doing a fantastic job with us, having been on his student placement for nearly 5 months now, Gbemi is tearing it up on the pitch for Dundalk, netting six goals and claiming a further 3 assists.

We are incredibly proud to watch his hard work pay off both in the office and on the field. The future is incredibly bright, Gbemi. Go smash it bro! 🙌⚽️

Last week, we were delighted to attend the official opening of the Dundalk Chamber’s amazing new offices on Clanbrassil Street. Before the opening we had the opportunity to meet with Dara Calleary TD, Minister for Social Protection, at the Town Hall in Dundalk to discuss business in Dundalk and current opportunities and challenges businesses face.

With AI moving from a trend to a core business engine, our conversation focused on the massive impact artificial intelligence is having on the Irish business landscape. We discussed the upcoming government fund and grants designed to support digital transformation and how businesses can strategically leverage AI to drive real-world efficiency and growth. We gave an insight into how we have developed our own business management system in just a couple of days with AI compared to months developing our previous system manually (more on this to come).

A massive congratulations to the team at Dundalk Chamber on their incredible new space right in the heart of town!

🌎🚁 What an incredible evening last Thursday at the Spirit Store for A Masterclass in Leadership in partnership with the Dundalk Chamber. The room was packed with the region’s most ambitious minds, all focused on one thing, the reality of what it takes to lead in 2026.

Sam Mulroy set the tone, sharing how high-performance sports habits provide the ultimate foundation for entrepreneurial growth. Our second panel brought together Joe McGuinness, ShĂłna McManus, and Brendan McGrath. From managing community-centric organisations to leading global firms through major change, their collective experience proved that whether you are in recruitment, pharma, or professional sport, excellence is a matter of discipline, micro habits and culture.

The grand finale with the brilliant Bobby Healy was a masterclass in itself, exploring the grit and resilience required to build a visionary tech company from the ground up.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the night a success, including our partners at the Dundalk Chamber and the team at the Spirit Store and A91 Street Food.

An accomplished executive and Six Sigma Black Belt, Brendan’s leadership is defined by analytical rigor and “Lean” efficiency. He understands exactly what it takes to manage complex operations and multi-million euro budgets while maintaining an uncompromising focus on quality and high-performance culture.

Tonight at the Spirit Store, Brendan will be joining our business panel to decode the science of scaling, the discipline of Lean leadership, and the reality of leading a world-class manufacturing site right here in the North East.

Public Servant. CEO. Lilywhite. ⚪️⚫️

We are thrilled to announce our next guest speaker for A Masterclass in Leadership: The CEO of Dundalk FC, Joe McGuinness.

Joe’s story is one of ultimate loyalty and transition. After a remarkable 40-year career in public service with Louth County Council, where he played a pivotal role in the progress and development of our county, Joe has stepped out of the council corridors and into the boardroom of Ireland’s most successful football club.

As the man now tasked with the daily operations of Oriel Park, Joe is bringing four decades of organisational expertise, grit, and community-building experience to the world of professional sport.

On April 30th at the Spirit Store, Joe will be sharing his unique perspective on leadership through transition, the reality of running a legacy club, and how 40 years of public service has shaped his vision for success on and off the pitch.

Castle Builder. Visionary. Industry Leader. 🏰

We are honored to announce our next guest speaker for A Masterclass in Leadership in partnership with the Dundalk Chamber: The Trustee and driving force behind Castle Leslie Estate, Sammy Leslie.

Managing a 1,000-acre historic estate isn’t just about preserving the past, it’s about pioneering a sustainable future. For over 30 years, Sammy has been the custodian of one of Ireland’s last great family-run estates, transforming it into a world-class, award-winning destination that boasts a luxury hotel, a premier equestrian centre, and an organic cookery school.

Known to many as a ‘Castle Builder,’ Sammy’s leadership style is rooted in the belief that we are merely custodians of the land for future generations. Her work with The Leslie Foundation, focusing on people, place, planet, and peace, is a masterclass in how to lead with a conscience while maintaining the highest standards of commercial excellence.

On April 30th at the Spirit Store, Sammy will be joining our panel to discuss the reality of managing a legacy, the importance of “good old-style hospitality” in a modern world, and what it truly means to build something that lasts.

This is a rare chance to hear from one of Ireland’s most respected business leaders.

We are thrilled to announce our next guest speaker for A Masterclass in Leadership event together with the Dundalk Chamber: CEO and Owner of Osborne, ShĂłna McManus.

Shóna’s journey is the definition of ‘The Big Vision’. Taking over Osborne Recruitment in 2013 when it was a single office with just six people, she has since transformed it into an international recruitment powerhouse.

Under her leadership, Osborne hasn’t just grown, it has exploded. Shóna has overseen a quadrupling of turnover and headcount, expanding the footprint from local roots in Louth and Dublin to global offices in Toronto, Ottawa, and New York.

On April 30th at the Spirit Store, ShĂłna will be sharing her insights on building an international multinational from the ground up, the importance of reinvesting in your people, and the grit required to maintain excellence across borders.

Captain. All-Star. Entrepreneur. 🔴⚪️

We are delighted to announce our next guest speaker for A Masterclass in Leadership event together with the Dundalk Chamber, Louth Captain and 2025 All-Star, Sam Mulroy.

Sam’s 2025 was one for the history books, leading Louth to a historic Leinster title. But his leadership doesn’t stop when he leaves the pitch. As the founder of Sam Mulroy Fitness (SMF), he has spent the last five years turning a few local classes in a GAA hall into a professional, state-of-the-art facility serving hundreds of members.

Recognised as the “Young Entrepreneur of the Year,” Sam understands the grit, discipline, and high-performance habits required to build a brand from the ground up while competing at the highest level of Irish sport.

On April 30th at the Spirit Store, Sam will be joining our panel to talk about the raw DNA of success, from managing the pressure of a Leinster final to the daily grind of scaling a business.

Our CEO David Kieran, was delighted to speak at the ‘Goals Beyond The Pitch’ event at Oriel Park last Friday.

David spoke about what Dundalk FC means to him personally and to us at ZOMA as the club’s main sponsors. As main sponsors, Dundalk FC is more than just a logo on a shirt for us, it’s the club many of us grew up with and a community we’re proud to be part of. It was great to share why that connection matters so much to everyone at ZOMA.

The day wasn’t just about football though. Mark Owens and his team from Team NEO gave an insight in how Louth businesses can actually break into the US market specifically in Cleveland.

There is a massive opportunity for local businesses looking to expand toward the US currently, and we’re already working with companies to get their brand ready for that global stage.
