One year in Business already! I set up my web design business on 2nd April 2021. I have loved every moment of it. It has been both challenging and rewarding.
I enjoy creating relationships with clients and building communities. Considering what we have been through in the last two years, where would we be without online business. Many businesses would not have survived had they not been able to set up online. I am glad I was able to assist some of these businesses reach an even wider audience than would have been possible with just bricks and mortar. I am amazed that I have been receiving messages from the UK, USA, and the Philippines regarding the website and working with them very well, the technology we have today - imagine what that would have been like 20 years ago! There are a lot of people who didn't realize they could apply for the Trade Online Voucher, where they could access a grant of up to €2,500 or 50% of the eligible costs. This would be incredibly useful if they applied for the grant to get their business online.
The fact that I am Deaf has not prevented me from running my own business. Modern technology has made it easier for me to communicate. My family, friends, and community have been so supportive! I appreciate all of their help!
