🦅The Hungry Buzzards
are a hard rock outfit emerging from Irelands west coast. The first seeds were planted in the artistic hotbed of Kinvara village, south Co. Galway, when wandering South African guitarist lan Robbins and local musician Declan Cairney bonded over a love of classic stoner-rock bands.
After a steady, organic growth through the years 2020 and the eventual creative involvement of drummer Ruarí Cairney and Limerick-based bass player Jack Hayes, the current iteration of the band was formed .

A bus stop was accidentally erected this month blocking the entrance to a housing estate in Galway city.

Residents shared pictures of the newly constructed bus stop post, which was placed right in the middle of the pedestrian and vehicle entrance to An Culán housing estate.

Galway City Council confirmed the pole was taken down within a week of its debut on Thursday, March 12.

A council spokesperson told the Irish Independent that the bus stop was put there by mistake; however, the work was 'not carried out by Galway City Council, nor any contractor working on its behalf.'

What is planned for that junction, council officials said, is a stop sign for vehicular traffic outside the housing estate which will be installed 'in the coming weeks'
