folús: New exhibition explores landscape, memory and myth in Galway

folús, a new group exhibition curated by Irish artists Lilymay Healy and Tara Dowling, opens at Satellite Projects & Studios in Galway's Westend on 16 September 2026.

Bringing together artists and writers working across Ireland and London, folús explores landscape as a site of memory, mythology and possibility. The exhibition considers what remains when histories disappear from view, and how traces of the past can generate new stories, fictions and imagined futures.

folús, a new group exhibition curated by Irish artists Lilymay Healy and Tara Dowling, opens at Satellite Projects & Studios in Galway's Westend on 16 September 2026.

Galway-based choreographer and performer Magdalena Hylak brings her first full-length ensemble work, RACKET, to the stage at Dance Limerick on September 11 at 7:30pm.

Now in her third year as Galway Dance Artist in Residence, Magdalena has developed a distinctive practice exploring the relationship between movement, sound, space and the audience.

RACKET brings this work into a new ensemble piece, performed by four exceptional dancers: Ashley Chen, Isabella Oberlander, Siobhán Ní Dhuinnín and Magdalena herself.
