Brosna Press are a leading design and print company based in Ferbane, Co. Offaly. We currently have a vacancy for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our design team. Applications are sought from candidates with a Diploma or Degree level qualification and at least 3-5 years experience working in graphic design, ideally with a good knowledge of print production.

Candidates will be required to have a high level of expertise in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and experience creating digital content an advantage. We are seeking a creative thinker with superb typographic and layout skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will possess a fine attention to detail, have excellent English language and communication skills, be able to deal directly with clients, work in a team.

This exciting position will require the creation of high quality design work for print, digital and signage for a varied client base across many sectors including the arts, sport, education, commercial, SMEs and semi-state bodies. The role is full-time, five days per week, Monday to Friday, working from our design and print facility in Ferbane.

Big Night Out for Breast Cancer Research

A very exciting concert will take place on Sunday, 28th November at the Salthill Hotel as The Moonlight Big Band, a 19 piece Big Band/ Jazz Orchestra, will perform a special fundraising concert in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute

The concert will feature music from; Sinatra, Buble, Miller, Paul Anka, Goodman and many more. Singers on the night will include, Keith McDonald and Madeleine Connaughton and the MC will be Galway Bay FM’s very own, Jimmy Higgins.
All singers and musicians in the band have kindly donated their services to support breast cancer research and as a result all proceeds raised will go directly to the charity.

Doors open at 7.30pm, places are limited and a COVID Passport is required with photo ID to attend the event.

October is breast cancer awareness month and the National Breast Cancer Research Institute are asking everyone to consider holding a fundraising event at home, in your community or at work to help support breast cancer research and here is why.

• 1 in 9 Irish women will develop breast cancer during their lifetime.
• More than 3,200 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed each year in Ireland.
• Breast Cancer can affect anyone – irrespective of age, lifestyle and gender.
• Women are most commonly diagnosed after the age 50.
• Approximately 16 men will develop breast cancer each year in Ireland.
