Choosing was much harder than we expected, three decades of work, and only 30 spots.

On Wednesday, 12th of August, we will be welcoming Una Healy on the show. Una is the very talented designer who created the Hi From a Human logo.

Una Healy is an award-winning Irish graphic designer and entrepreneur with more than 30 years of experience in branding, visual communications and illustration. She founded her current designstudio, Una Healy Design, in Dublin, (1996) where she has helped organisations across sectors, including major corporations, government departments, banks, start-ups and not-for-profit groups, to grow their brands through thoughtful design and clear visual storytelling.
Her work has been recognised with accolades such as the Women in Business Entrepreneur of the Year Award from the Dublin City Local Enterprise Office and a Universal Design Award from the Institute of Designers in Ireland for inclusive design projects.

Illustrated Raheny - coming soon!

I’ve had the privilege of being born and raised in Raheny. Being surrounded by its history and natural beauty, I decided to illustrate eight historical spots from the village. These illustrations will shortly be available as a set of cards, which would be perfect for sending a little piece of home to someone who’s moved away, or just to keep for yourself.

For now though I’d love your help please. Can you comment as to which card format you would be more likely to use - Postcard or Greeting Card. Thanks X

From brand design to business card: The SHR monogram for Siobhán Healy Ryan, Textile Artist, holds three initials in one icon. The logo feels handmade in spirit and is accurate in ex*****on, which is what a wool felt artist’s brand should feel like.

Paying careful attention to detail we wanted Siobhan to have beautifully clean business cards. The white ink sits crisply against matte teal stock, giving the cards an almost tactile quality.

The teal colour was chosen to portray the natural world ie. Sea grass, lichen, the inside of a wave. It is distinctive and luxurious.

Full disclosure: Siobhán is my sister, and I am completely, unapologetically biased! 🤣🤗🥰 This brand captures exactly who Siobhan is, someone who works with her hands, brings beauty and precision to every piece of felt art and jewellery she creates, and shares that knowledge generously through her tuition. What an honour to design her branding for her.
