IRELAND FINISH FIFTH IN ST TROPEZ LONGINES LEAGUE OF NATIONS

The Irish team of Trevor Breen, Mark McAuley, Shane Breen and Billy Twomey, have finished fifth overall in today's Longines League Of Nations at St Tropez in France.
Ireland were in fifth place at the halfway point on a score of 8 faults. They added 12 faults in the second round to complete on a final score of 20 faults and in fifth place. France take victory on 4 faults ahead of Brazil in second on 8 faults and Belgium in third.

More Irish success in the 7-year-old World Championship final in Lanaken, as the Justin Burke-bred Galwaybay Esmerelda (ISH) finishes just one place off the podium in fourth with British rider Rebecca Burgess.
