It's been a great fundraising campaign as it all comes to a head Sunday for the 50km run. We will be on the sidelines helping out and creating content. The target was €50,000, but we are already at €57,000 which is just amazing. Best of luck to Mark and Jamie tomorrow 💪💪

🚨 SCAM ALERT: Fake “Domain Renewal / Renewal Notification” Emails 🚨

Over the past few months we’ve had nearly a dozen businesses forward us the same email asking if it’s legit. It’s not — it’s a phishing/scam message designed to get you to click “View Invoice” and pay for a “renewal notification service” (or hand over card details).

How to spot it:
✅ Unexpected “renewal” / “invoice due” email for a domain you didn’t request and not by your domain provider.
✅ Pressure language like “avoid interruption” / “deactivation of service”
✅ A big payment button (e.g. “View Invoice”)
✅ Vague details, or the sender doesn’t match your real domain provider

What to do if you receive it:

Don’t click any buttons or links

Don’t pay anything from the email

Check your domain renewal by logging in directly to your registrar (type the website in yourself)

If unsure, forward the email to your web/IT provider to verify

Mark as Phishing/Spam in your email inbox

If you’ve already clicked or paid: contact your bank immediately, change relevant passwords, and enable 2FA where possible.
