It was a fascinating experience working on Doing Undoing Redoing with Visual Artist Sue Morris. Generally our work involves keeping people engaged and entertained with this project Sue's aim was to induce discomfort and confusion in the viewer in an attempt to give insight into how someone with dementia perceives and engages with the world.

Two years ago we worked on an experimental film project with visual artist Sue Morris. The film Doing Undoing Redoing formed part of Sue's The Unfamiliar Familiar exhibition which explored how people with dementia might perceive the world. The work was created in, and subsequently exhibited in Nazareth House, Bishop Street, Derry NI on night 2017
We are delighted that Doing Undoing Redoing has been selected for screening at this year's Photophobia Contemporary Moving Image Festival in Hamilton Ontario, Canada

'Making waves' with St Patrick's Girls' National School, Carndonagh this morning for the screening of the CreativeIrl project.
Filmed in 1 day edited in 1 weekend! It was such a pleasure working on this innovative project facilitated by Sarah Murphy and muinteoir Delilah. With her usual 110% commitment Jessica Peoples of ZoNa Dance Company worked with each class from Jr infants to 6th class to devise and choreograph a depiction of how life under the sea could be different if only people would put their plastic in a recycle bin!
Look out for the video a little later.

Fantastic day filming with ZoNa Dance Company at Patrick's Girls' National School, Carndonagh for their project Couldn't have done without the help of David from Mc Laughlin's Homevalue! We really appreciated the use of their cherry picker for the day - it was an ideal solution for our overhead shots when it was not possible to use a drone pilot - Well done Sarah Murphy for bringing us altogether for the project - CreativeIrl
