Finding a passion is difficult. Sometimes you might know straight away but other times it might take months (even years). I’m celebrating six months in business. Six months since I officially set up Courtney Smith’s Online Bits Ltd.

Over the years of doing social media marketing, I have found I thoroughly enjoy creating content with food and drink. From a young age I struggled with eating but when I was going through chemotherapy I developed a strong passion for food which then later moved onto my social media marketing work.

Here are a few snaps of some food and drink I’ve captured over the last few months while in business. This proves you can do anything you set your mind to. It doesn’t matter on the timing of it all. I finished college in April 2022 but a month later I was diagnosed with cancer. I wasn’t out there trying to get a big job. I had to fight for my life. Two years later here I am with my successful business 🥰

I am proud to say I have formed Courtney Smith’s Online Bits Ltd ✨

In 2022, I was in my final year of my Digital Marketing degree preparing my FYP Business Plan while also being very sick everyday. I had the hopes of setting up my own Social Media Marketing business when I finished my degree. I submitted my FYP on the 29th of April 2022. I didn’t know just a month later I would be diagnosed with stage 3 Hodgkins Lymphoma.

Fast forward to today: I’m happy to say I’m a social media manager for 4 different businesses and glad to have finally made something of myself! 😇
