Facebook has tweaked its algorithm to give preference to posts that use Facebook's built-in Link format (like this post does) as opposed to posts that put a url in as the caption to a photograph. (as in the example below). So, if you had been doing this to take advantage of the higher ranking given to Photo posts, you may have to change your strategy to get the maximum reach.
Tired of shady techniques used by publishers to get you to click? So is Facebook. The company announced Monday that it is battling click-baiting by punishing pages who use this tactic to get traffic to the website.
