Ideation Marketing is HIRING!

A MARKETING ASSOCIATE POSITION IS NOW AVAILABLE (part-time now, with potential to become full time soon).

As a Marketing Associate with our fast-growing, fast-moving sales and marketing company, you'll report directly to the Marketing Manager and be involved with a diverse mix of clients across sectors, and marketing channels.

You will be responsible for implementing campaign strategies to help our clients grow their businesses profitably, plus optimizing and reporting on the campaigns. You will also have some direct contact with clients.

We are looking for someone that can hit the ground running - so a bit of experience, and a LOT of initiative and drive will be key here!
What you need:
- a relevant third level qualification
- understanding of sales and marketing principles
- Social Media EXPERTISE - you need to know how to create and deploy engaging content
- superb written/oral communication
- efficiency
- organizational skills
- energy
- adaptability
- a can-do attitude
- good customer service capability
- a good phone manner
- an appetite to learn
- some work experience to demonstrate that you’ve got the skillset
- references from people you’ve worked for, which will be checked

Ideation Marketing is a fast-paced, energized, sales-oriented company. No two days are alike here, but that’s the way we like it. We are growing, and we need a superstar to fill this position and grow with us. We offer brilliant experience and training on the job for the right candidate, but you’ll need energy and motivation and ambition and an appetite to work hard to fit in (and keep up!).

Salary is hourly initially, commensurate with experience. A bonus comes with the job, based on hitting your performance goals.

Hours can be flexible, and we know and respect that you have a life as well as a job, so we are open to accommodating people who are juggling other time commitments (eg. college, school run). Absolutely open to remote workers, and this will be a remote position initially. Tell us why you want this job!

Like it or not, CHANGE is a permanent inevitability.

Most of us don't like it, but a felt need for change precedes all great business advancement. It's a mistake to get so locked into doing what you do, "the way you've always done it" that you fail to see the changes in your market or your customer's expectations as they happen. Your customers have more choice now than ever - and even the loyal ones can be drawn to a competitor who is more engaging/available/creative/visible - especially in digital channels, and especially now.

Look for the signs that you need to change a little or change a lot. Imagine yourself in your customer's shoes with all the choices available to him or her. Keep an eye on your market to stay abreast of your competitor, and follow global brands to be inspired by the tactics and strategies that are coming down the pipeline.

Don't avoid change - instead, actively seek ways to CHANGE FOR THE BETTER.

Good advice for business during lockdown!

In the first week of our 6 week lockdown, we recommend making your list and checking it twice.....

Have you updated your customers on how you can continue to help them?
If your premises is closed - does your signage in the window tell them how to reach you?
Can you continue to trade, online or by phone?
Will you be shipping goods out, and if so - what else can you include on the package to entice your customer back for future orders?
