Back then I was not happy in my own skin, tired, unhealthy, overweight and I certainly had tried everything else.

Michael Jordan was one of the great bastetballers/sports people around back in the day. I grew up watching him and trying my best to copy him πŸ€.
I played every day, no matter what the weather, wouldnt go to France on holidays as I wanted to go to the basketball camp in Dungarvan. Those were the days.

Sports teaches you many good lessons:
πŸ€Motivation
πŸ€Endurance
πŸ€Teamwork
πŸ€Learn from losing
πŸ€Sporting in winning/losing
πŸ€The importance of morale

None of my kids play basketball, all 4 play soccer, the TV will have the Euros, The Lions, tennis and probably GAA before the weeks out. Sport never leaves you nor the lessons you learn!

Sometimes we forget what social media is actually for. What do you use your platforms for?
Do you interact with your customers, ask them for their opinion?
It is well recognised that human beings require connection and social media is a great way to connect. If you purely use it as another way to market or promote you have lost your way.

My fabulous friend Tara J. drew this awesome image of a 'Wildfire Princess' for me. Its great to have talented friends. πŸ˜„ Tara can paint shop windows, make headpieces, jewellery, oil paintings, fantastic stage sets (like absolutely first class sets.. on a shoestring... for a little community hall), somebody needs to whip this girl up and explore her vast array of talents.

Throwback Thursday

Remember when... we could fly away to sunny climates, just 2 Summers ago. Well it all come right in the end, in the mean time, lets support our hospitality industry, stay in Irish hotels, campsites, B&B's, holiday homes etc. 😎
Being a ginger I get too hot abroad anyway, so lets hope for a good Irish Summer of outdoor dining, friends, fun and craic.
