Laois Business Community Come Together in Mountrath - Laois Chamber Alliance Regional Gathering
Business owners from across Laois came together at Bloom HQ, Mountrath, for the latest Laois Chamber Alliance Regional Gathering, an event focused on connection, collaboration and helping businesses get greater value from being part of the Chamber network.
The gathering gave local businesses an opportunity to step away from the day-to-day, meet other business owners, share experiences, and explore practical ways to support one another.
Attendees took part in informal networking discussions, explored referral opportunities and shared insights on the challenges and opportunities currently facing businesses in Mountrath and across Laois.
Speaking after the event, Jackie Carroll, CEO of Laois Chamber Alliance, said:
“We want every business in Laois to feel connected, supported, and visible. Running a business can be a lonely place, and being part of a strong business network can make a real difference.
“Chamber membership works best when businesses get involved. Events like this are about more than networking. They are about building relationships, opening doors, creating referral opportunities, and helping businesses feel part of something bigger.”
Participants also learned more about how to maximise the benefits of Chamber membership, increase their business visibility and engage more actively with the wider business community.
Laois Chamber Alliance is encouraging members to continue using the network available to them by attending events, making introductions, sharing their business updates, and taking part in wider Chamber activity.
The next major opportunity for businesses to connect will be Laois Shines on Monday, 7 September 2026, followed by the next Laois Chamber Alliance Regional Gathering on Wednesday, 7 October 2026, from 6pm to 7pm at Making Tracks, Ballybrophy.
The Regional Gatherings form part of Laois Chamber Alliance’s ongoing commitment to supporting businesses throughout the county and strengthening the local economy under its motto, “Stronger Together for Laois.”
Laois Chamber Alliance thanked Bloom HQ for hosting the event and acknowledged all businesses that attended and contributed to the discussions.
Businesses interested in becoming more involved in Laois Chamber Alliance, or in finding out how membership can support their business, are encouraged to get in touch with the Chamber team.
