May was fun ❤️

Last week was non-stop here at SMB Media. We had two exchange students with us, Adam and Adam, from Slovenia.

We were filming at Blue Door, The Moorings, Mossie Joyce Butchers, Boutique Katie Fitz, Hive Education, The Getaway, Tunefest and Baumann Jewellers. We were also busy behind the scenes working on TAB Electrical, my husband Chris’ new electrical business.

In between all that, we had a Confirmation, and George our bulldog had his groom at Dashing Hounds, who did an amazing job as always.

Then the weekend was all football coverage with LGFA matches.

we’ve another busy week ahead, but I’m also doing something really exciting on Thursday, so stay tuned 👀

Thank you so much to everyone for all the birthday wishes ❤️
I had the best day and evening celebrating with friends and family — feeling very lucky!!

It’s been such a special few days. It was my birthday today, my sister Helen’s and Aoibhnait’s yesterday, and my husband Chris officially launched his new business this week too ⚡ What a fab week it’s been full of celebrations, excitement and lots of memories made.

A huge thank you as well to The Moorings for looking after us so well tonight — the food was absolutely delicious and we had such a lovely evening. We’re very lucky to have such a fab place in Dungarvan 🤍

🌿 A New Chapter at The Getaway 🌿

A small change to protect what makes us special.

Over time, many of our guests have told us they value the tranquillity and calm of our countryside setting. To preserve this atmosphere, we have chosen to operate as an adults-only campsite, creating a more peaceful and restorative escape for all who stay with us.

This approach allows The Getaway to remain a space focused on quiet, relaxation and connection — ideal for couples, friends and solo travellers looking to slow down and switch off. It also supports the range of wellness experiences hosted on-site, including retreats, workshops and seasonal gatherings, where calm surroundings and uninterrupted space are essential.

However if the site is hired for a Private Event , children are more than welcome.

Happy Sunday 💛
Started the day with Eze looking for cuddles from Thea, popped to my sister’s quickly, then a Dunnes run (including spotting a cat sitting on a car 🐱).
Met Emma and Kelly for a catch up — wedding chats and good coffee — in The Hat Maker, such a beautiful spot.
