We recently completed the brand identity and corporate guidelines for Shelley Interiors, a considered evolution of a name with a strong legacy. Shelley Interiors are a Kildare based interiors company specialising in bespoke cabinetry and commercial interior solutions. With more than 20 years of experience, they have built a reputation for meticulous craft, intelligent detailing, and projects that stand the test of time.

Working alongside Keith and the team was a genuinely enjoyable process. Their openness, commitment to quality, and trust in our approach allowed us to reframe the brand with clarity and intention. Shifting away from a logo that has represented a business for years is never simple. It requires confidence in the future and respect for what has come before. This project carried both.

The resulting identity is a decisive step forward. The name now leads the composition with greater presence, while the original leaf reference has been reinterpreted into a cleaner, more architectural graphic element. It maintains recognition, but with a sharper, more contemporary voice.

Below, you’ll see selected before and after imagery, along with a preview from the corporate brand guidelines created to support consistent application across all touchpoints.

Well done to Wexford CBS and
Loreto Secondary School, Wexford at last week’s joint careers night, a brilliant event for young people exploring what jobs and careers are out there.
A big thank you to all the students who stopped by our table. It was great to see so much interest in every aspect of Design (UI) and Programming.
We loved the questions and curiosity, the future is bright!

It was an absolute honour to speak with business owners in the South East region recently at the SETU Waterford Growth Hub's annual enterprise breakfast meeting. The theme of the event? Innovation. And I had the privilege of joining two incredible speakers, Victoria Wilmott and Larry Breen, as we shared our lived experiences and research on the importance of continuous innovation.

My talk focused on the Implementation of Lean Thinking and Practices to improve the ways of working in the digital web services space. Lean Transformation is not just about streamlining processes; it’s about slowing down to speed up. It’s about stepping back, rethinking processes, and recognising that true change begins with the people at the heart of every business.

My journey of Lean is ultimately a Leader Epiphany - realising that it’s all about the people. Without engaged teams and a culture of continuous improvement, transformation cannot happen.

Here are some key takeaways:

- Lean principles can be transformative for microenterprises, SMEs, and the digital sector.

- There are no Silver Bullets

- Apply Scientific Thinking vs Ad hoc (Spock vs Homer)

- A successful Lean transformation is driven by people-centric leadership.

- Slowing down to truly analyse and improve processes can accelerate growth in the long run.

I’m grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to such an inspiring event and to connect with so many passionate business owners. Innovation is a continuous journey, and I’m excited to see how these insights will drive success for all who attended.
