LinkedIn just changed the rules again (Feb 2026 Update). 🚨
If you’ve noticed your impressions tanking lately, it’s likely because of the new "𝗗𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲" ranking signal.
LinkedIn is now explicitly penalizing: ❌ External links (even more than before - roughly a 60% reach cut). ❌ "Bridge" behavior (trying to hide links in the first comment). ❌ Low-effort AI-generated comments.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗻𝗼𝘄? The algorithm is looking for Dwell Time. It wants to see that people are actually reading, not just clicking "See More" and leaving.
𝗠𝘆 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗕𝟮𝗕 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀: Move the "Good Stuff" (the insights, the data, the reveal) into the body of the post. Give it away for free. If you force them to click away to your site to get the value, you’ve already lost the reach.
Are you seeing a dip in your company page reach this month? I'm curious if you've tried "Zero-Click" content yet.
