This startup needs to change its tune FAST!

Here’s why...

Most startups I know (and that’s a lot) rely on investment to get off the ground.

Investors are often savvy, busy, and impatient people.

They also see A LOT of companies.

The first stage of their due diligence is “canvasing” - where they take a quick snapshot of many companies looking for features they think indicate a good match.

👍 If you’re meeting an investor at this stage you need to hone straight to the POINT!

❌ Don’t waste time rambling about details (this will come later - IF there’s a later!).

👉 Be straightforward, simple, and direct.

👉 Communicate any complex or technical topics in a readily-digestible way.

👌 Remember, this is your chance to impress!

😩 If you can’t clearly communicate your offer to investors, how will you do so for users and customers❓

👌 The investor pitch is THE most important piece of marketing collateral in the early stages of your journey.

👍 Get the language right there and it will trickle down to your other communications.
