An Israeli founder close a door he did not know was there.
He was selling a cyber solution to a US prospect he had just met. He was told beforehand: do not pitch, this is an opening conversation, you have no trust yet. He went anyway. By the end, the buyer said the meeting was not what he had signed up for.
In Israel, it's called failing upward. You stumble, you move on, you reach the next rung. With the American buyer, that grace does not exist. The first miss is usually the last one, and the founder rarely understands why the line went quiet.
That gap is the whole reason Sun Dahan and Jordan built this series. North America is a foreign country, and treating it as an extension of Tel Aviv with fluent English is the most expensive assumption you can make. Sun handles the GTM operator's view, Jordan covers the marketing and cross-cultural side, and neither of them is selling a silver bullet.
Episode one is now live. If you are building toward the US, or already bleeding budget there, this conversation can save you a year of expensive lessons. Watch it before your next first call. https://youtu.be/Ufy-A1XAluQ
