It's starting to feel like AI images grow on trees. Most of the output looks genuinely good, which is exactly why the problem hides so well.

The trouble lives underneath the polish. A generated graphic can be clean and still announce itself through small signals: the things a machine produces when no human judgment sits on top. We call these the tells, and they are what separate a brand asset from a default.

Three checks catch most of them before anything ships. The first is branding. Every time content and a prompt go in to build a graphic, the brand identity you established should go in with them, not the model's house style. If that system isn't in place yet, step back and build it before generating the next asset.

The second is spelling. With every tool now available, it remains astonishing how often this gets skipped. Generated images still carry misspelled words, and sometimes a register that belongs to an entirely different country than the audience you're addressing.

The third is the visual itself. Proportions warp, elements land in the wrong place, formatting falls apart on a second look, and some details come out plainly incorrect. The eye registers these flaws even when the viewer can't name what feels off.

The Oscars just made a serious move on AI, and anyone working in media should be paying attention.

The Academy’s updated rules say that acting performances must be demonstrably performed by humans with their consent, and screenplays must be human-authored to qualify. The Academy can also ask for more information about AI usage and human authorship when reviewing eligibility.

This is one of the clearest signs yet that the industry is beginning to separate AI as a production tool from AI as the creative source. That distinction is going to matter more in film, advertising, branding, content, and every field where authorship still carries commercial and cultural weight. People will want to know who made the work, who approved it, who owns it, and whether the human contribution is real.

What happens when a brand name gets in the way of a beautiful mission?

We recently faced this exact challenge with a client doing world-class work. The Ohr Torah Interfaith Center was building a remarkable space for different faiths to meet and find common ground. The issue was that outside the Jewish world most people had no idea what the name meant. They needed a rebrand that signaled interfaith dialogue without leaning into just one religion.

Our team got to work and found the answer hiding in plain sight. Jerusalem. No name on earth carries more historical and universal significance.

For the visual identity, we drew inspiration from the legendary 1581 Bünting Cloverleaf Map. This masterpiece depicts the world as a three-leaf clover with Jerusalem at its heart where Europe, Asia, and Africa meet. We built the entire rebrand around this foundation. New logo. New typography. New colors.

Today, we are incredibly proud to announce that the organization is officially the . It is an honor to do work that builds bridges between brands and people.
