Sometimes in an open work space people want some privacy and they will go to extremes to achieve it. Here is a picture of a cubicle at Google made up of cardboard cut outs. Yes, can you imagine the time that went into making this - all for a bit of privacy that can be knocked down with a person briskly walking by the cubicle and the breeze knocking it down?

Richard Hay from Google shared this and basically said "so busy..." I guess Googlers are incredibly busy working on the next algorithm.

Google Laser Door PostSecret

Google's Florian Rohrweck snapped a picture of an interesting hallway at Google's Zurich office, at least it appears to be a staircase and hallway. You can see doors with Googley colored lights on the door posts and then doors with no staircase next to them, I guess indoor windows.

It looks pretty spooky to be honest but I guess that is the point of the picture.

The folks on Google+ commenting about them suspect it has to do with "death lasers" maybe aimed at cat intruders?

Doodle 4 Google winner's entry marks Children's Day

Google on Thursday celebrated Children's Day by displaying an attractive doodle on its homepage.

The doodle titled " Sky's The Limit for Indian Women" was designed by Gayatri Ketharaman, a 15-year-old girl, from Pune in the Doodle 4 Google contest for 2013.

Google Analytics Hook Scale

Daniel Waisberg, part of the Google Analytics team, is showing off some Google swag from the Google Analytics team. This one is a hanging hook scale, which comes in handy for weighing bags before you get on flights, as well as weighing other things that hang.

Of course, Google Analytics take on this is measuring everything with them.
