Last week, I had the opportunity to deliver a session on “Sound and Simplicity in Advertising” at SPUMBA - Post Graduate Department of Business Management, a part of Sardar Patel University.

What made the experience truly meaningful was meeting professors like Prof. (Dr.) Mitesh Jayswal, who go beyond the textbook to ensure students gain practical, real-world exposure. That commitment to applied learning makes all the difference.

The energy in the room was encouraging. The students didn’t just attend, they participated, questioned and challenged. Their curiosity proved one thing clearly: when given the right environment, young minds are eager to learn what truly works outside the classroom.

Advertising is not just about creativity; it’s about clarity, relevance and simplicity. And seeing future managers engage deeply with these ideas was both refreshing and motivating.

Grateful for the opportunity and looking forward to more such enriching interactions.

💥 Going viral sounds exciting. Big numbers. Big reach. Big applause.

But here is an uncomfortable truth most businesses don’t like to hear: Virality rarely pays the bills.

If you are not a creator, an entertainer or not supporting a social cause to spread awareness, going viral is often a distraction and not a strategy.

💎 Businesses don’t grow by reaching everyone. They grow by reaching the right someone.

When a post goes viral, it usually does three things:
📌 Reaches a very broad audience
📌 Generates likes, shares and comments
📌 Feels successful on the dashboard

👉 But it often misses one thing: Buying intent.

Viral content ignores where the audience is in their customer journey. It reaches people who may enjoy the content but have no reason, need or ability to buy from you.

Let’s make this practical. If you are a local business and your content is reaching cities 500 or 1000 km away and you don’t deliver online, that reach looks great on paper but it does not move revenue.

💎 Attention without relevance is expensive noise.

Instead of asking, Will this go viral? Ask:
🎯 Will this reach my target audience?
🎯 Will it start the right conversation?
🎯 Can I qualify interest from this content?
🎯 Can I follow up meaningfully?

That is where growth actually happens. And this is why smart businesses focus on connection over virality.
They:
🔥 Reach a defined audience
🔥 Qualify interest
🔥 Send relevant communication
🔥 Continue the conversation

Platforms like 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐀𝐩𝐩 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 beautifully for this not because they are flashy but because they respect intent and timing.

Choose wisely. Virality is for visibility and relevance is for revenue.

Would you rather have 1,00,000 likes or 10 conversations that convert?

I’m curious to hear how you think about this, so please feel free to drop your perspective below.

⌛ There was a time when 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐝-𝐨𝐟-𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 meant a conversation.

👥💬 You met someone. You shared an experience. A recommendation travelled from one person to another slowly and with trust. That was marketing’s most powerful force.

👩🏻‍💻 Today, people meet less in person. Life is faster. Schedules are tighter. But something important has not changed.

People still share what they like and what they do not. They still pass along useful information.

💥 Only now, 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐬.

📌 Word-of-mouth did not disappear. It changed its route. Today, recommendations travel through Links, Images, Videos, PDFs and Screenshots.

The easiest, fastest, most natural way people share all of this is through 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭𝐬𝐀𝐩𝐩.

That is where trust already exists. That is where friends and family are and that is where decisions quietly begin.

🎯 This is modern word-of-mouth. Which means your marketing strategy should not stop at reach and impressions.

When someone shares your brand on WhatsApp, they are doing the hard work for you:
✔ Introducing you to a new audience
✔ Transferring trust or negative experience
✔ Opening a conversation

When that happens, your job is to be ready with WhatsApp automation, you can:
🎈 Respond instantly
🎈 Guide the conversation
🎈 Share the right information
🎈 Enhance the experience

So the next person has a good story to pass on.

🎯 Word-of-mouth still builds brands. It just doesn’t walk anymore. It travels through screens.

And businesses that prioritise WhatsApp are the ones staying part of the conversation. How are people talking about your brand today?

Most marketing does 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. It fails in the gap between steps.

Leads come in and then
🐌 The follow-up is delayed
⏰ The reminder is forgotten
🥱 The prospect cools off
🙅‍♂️ The conversation breaks

🚩 It is not that the prospect was not interested but the timing was wrong. This is the biggest gap in the marketing communication cycle.

💡 From Lead generation → nurturing → reminders → conversion the weakest link is almost always the same, timely connection with the prospect.

🕒 When prospect decides fast but businesses respond slowly in that case every hour of delay reduces intent.

🎯 This is exactly where WhatsApp automation changes the equation.

It ensures:
👌 Instant first response
👌 Structured nurturing messages
👌 Timely reminders without manual follow-ups
👌 Continuous visibility until a decision is made

💥 No missed messages. No we will follow up later and no dependence on someone being free. The conversation continues even when your team cannot.

✅️ Most businesses 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐠𝐚𝐩𝐬. And WhatsApp automation is how many businesses are closing them.

Is your business also using WhatsApp automation?

🎯 That is exactly why WhatsApp marketing has become such a powerful profit lever for SMEs.

✅ Over the last few years, I have seen businesses increase response speed, Lead quality, Follow-up consistency and conversions simply by using WhatsApp the right way.

📖 So I have put together a short, practical ebook: “How SMEs Can Increase Profits with WhatsApp Marketing.”
The book covers:

✔ What WhatsApp marketing really is (and what it is not)
✔ The different WhatsApp platforms available
✔ Common mistakes SMEs make and how to avoid them

If you are wondering whether WhatsApp can actually drive revenue for your business, this will give you clarity.

📱 In India, WhatsApp is in more hands than newspapers. Let that sink in.

📰 While India’s newspaper industry celebrated a 2.77% growth with 29.74 million daily circulation in early 2025, here is the reality check: 537 million Indians (approx.) are on WhatsApp that is 18X more people than those reading newspapers daily.

💭 Think about it. Your customers are not waiting for the morning paper anymore. They are scrolling through WhatsApp the moment they wake up.

Here is why WhatsApp Marketing is not optional anymore:

✅ Unmatched Reach: 537M users vs. 29.7M newspaper readers the math is simple

✅ Real Engagement: 98% open rates on WhatsApp vs. declining print readership

✅ Instant Connection: Your message reaches customers in seconds, not the next morning

✅ Two-Way Conversations: Unlike newspapers, customers can respond, ask questions and buy immediately

✅ Cost-Effective: A fraction of what you would spend on print ads

Even Hindi newspapers, the largest segment of print media, cannot compete with WhatsApp’s pe*******on across languages, regions and demographics.

The digital backbone of modern India is not on newsprint, it is on smartphones.

If you are still relying solely on traditional marketing channels, you are missing 500+ million potential customers who are already on WhatsApp, ready to engage with brands they trust.

The question is not whether to use WhatsApp Marketing. It is how quickly can you start?

If you are running lead ads, 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐈𝐃𝐬 even if you do not use email marketing?

⭐ Short answer: Not always. Let me explain.

✅ Collect email IDs if:
• You have a follow-up plan (email, CRM, automation)
• Your sales cycle is long (B2B, high-ticket services)
• You want a backup contact when calls or WhatsApp fail
• You are building a long-term database, not quick leads

📧 Email works well for Documentation, Detailed explanations and nurturing over time. In these cases, email is an asset even if you do not activate it immediately.

❌ Avoid collecting email IDs if:
• You are not going to use them at all
• You want maximum lead volume at low cost
• Your audience is mobile-first and prefers WhatsApp/calls
• You are seeing form fatigue or fake entries

If you don’t need the data today, don’t force the user to give it.

🤔 What changes when leads come from a landing page? Everything.

On a landing page:
• The user is more intentional
• They expect to spend time
• They are mentally prepared to share details

Here, collecting an email ID makes more sense, especially if:
✔ You are offering something valuable
✔ You are educating before selling
✔ You want higher-quality, lower-volume leads

Landing pages are about quality. Lead forms are about speed.

💎 The real rule most small businesses miss: Don’t collect data because it is available. Collect data because you have a reason.

🔥 Every extra field should answer one question: “How will this help me close or nurture this lead?”

If you cannot answer that, remove the field.

💥 Remember: Better leads don’t come from longer forms. They come from better intent.

Let’s connect on WhatsApp and discuss in detail. Link available in bio.

𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝. 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐚 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐰𝐚𝐢𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐭.
Most B2B businesses confuse the two and pay the price.

Let me simplify something that is often overcomplicated.

🌟 Google Search and Meta Ads are not competitors. They do very different jobs in your sales funnel.

👉 Google captures demand.
👉 Meta creates it.

And which one works depends entirely on where your buyer is mentally.

🏆 When Meta wins (Top of Funnel):
If your customer is:
• Not actively searching
• Not fully aware of the problem
• Exploring options casually
Google cannot help you because there is nothing to search yet. This is where Meta shines.

💡 Meta does not wait for intent. It creates curiosity, introduces problems, educates and warms people up. It understands behaviour: What people watch? What do they skip? What do they engage with?

Over time, Meta gets smarter and cheaper because it learns who actually buys.

That is why Meta is powerful for:
✔ New B2B solutions
✔ Category creation
✔ Long sales cycles
✔ Brand-led demand

🏆 When Google wins (Bottom of Funnel):
If your buyer is:
• Actively searching
• Comparing vendors
• Ready to talk pricing

Google absolutely crushes it. Search ads work because the buyer already has intent. They are raising their hand.

This is why Google is a strong bet for:
✔ High-ticket B2B
✔ Enterprise SaaS
✔ Real estate & professional services

Yes, CPCs are expensive. But one deal can pay for months of ads.

⚠️ Here is the part most B2B brands miss:
Google is like a store clerk waiting for a customer to ask. Meta is like a billboard that changes its message based on who is walking past.

😎 The smartest B2B strategy doesn’t choose sides. It uses Meta to warm the market and Google to close the deal.

So before asking “Which platform should I run ads on?” Ask a better question: Is my buyer searching or do I need to make them care first?

That answer decides everything.

Which ad platform have you tried? Let me know in the comments.

👨‍🎓 This week, three 𝐌𝐁𝐀 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 walked into our agency. They walked out thinking like marketers, not just students.

We had Nihal Nair, Dhananjay Yadav and Vedant Mistry from the Postgraduate Department of Business Management, Sardar Patel University (Anand) visit our office. They are studying marketing under Prof. (Dr.) Mitesh Jayswal, a professor who actively seeks innovative ways to develop his students and make them industry-ready.

💥 And I must say this upfront, when a professor goes the extra mile, students show up differently.

These three were not here for theory. They were curious about the real questions business owners care about:
👉 Why did this campaign work?
👉 When does advertising fail?
👉 How do you decide budgets, platforms and messaging?
👉 What actually moves numbers?

We discussed real campaigns. What we planned. What we executed. And most importantly, what results came out of it.

🤖 The conversation naturally moved to AI. Not as a buzzword, but as a business tool.

We reviewed how AI is already shaping marketing decisions, customer interactions and even AI-driven calls. And the conclusion was clear you can no longer separate technology from marketing.

🎯 For business owners, this is the real takeaway: The next generation of marketers is not being trained only to “run ads. They are learning to think in systems, outcomes and technology-led decisions. And that is good news for businesses that are willing to evolve.

👍 Kudos to Dr. Mitesh Jayswal for pushing practical exposure. To Nihal, Dhananjay and Vedant your curiosity is your biggest competitive advantage.

💎 The future of marketing will belong to those who understand both human behaviour and technology. These students are clearly on the right path.

Unpopular Truth: 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐠𝐥𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬

At first, it feels fine. Free. Simple. Familiar.

You open a sheet. Add a name. Add a number. Maybe a small note. But then leads start coming in daily. And that is when the cracks show.

🤦‍♂️ You forget:
– When you last spoke to a lead
– What exactly they were interested in
– Whether someone from your team has already followed up

The sheet keeps growing. You keep scrolling and somewhere in between, leads quietly disappear.

🔔 No reminders. No alerts. No clarity on stages.

You don’t know:
🔥 Who needs a follow-up today
🔥 Who has already received the brochure
🔥 Who read your message but did not reply

💥 Google Sheets will not tap your shoulder and say: “Hey, it is time to call this lead today.”

This is how good leads go cold, not because they were not interested, but because systems failed them.

A CRM is not about complexity. It is about visibility, follow-ups, ownership and timing. So start using CRM. Don’t go for fancy CRM, start with minimal.

If you are still managing serious business leads on Sheets, ask yourself one question: How many opportunities have already slipped through the basket? Also, let me know in the comments how your experience is?

[Lead Management, CRM, Lead Nurture, Lead Automation, Lead Generation]

“𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞.” If you run Meta ads, you have heard this many times.

You generate leads. You call them. Silence… or worse, “I never filled any form.”

This is not a sales problem. It is a lead quality problem.

Here is why it happens with traditional lead forms:
• People submit forms accidentally
• Details are auto-filled without intent
• There’s a time gap between inquiry and your call
• The lead forgets your brand name
• Zero emotional connection is created

By the time you call, the intent is cold.

This is exactly where Click-to-WhatsApp ads change the game.

When someone clicks your ad they land directly on WhatsApp chat:
✔ The conversation starts instantly
✔ The conversation stays there for reference
✔ Your brand name stays visible in their chat list
✔ Intent is higher because effort is higher

No confusion. No “𝐈 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞.” Just real conversations.

Now add WhatsApp automation on top of this.

Instant replies, Smart questions and Lead qualification before your sales team even calls.

So when your team speaks to the lead, they already remember you and already want to talk.

If you want to see how Click-to-WhatsApp ads + automation can improve your lead quality, DM me.

Let me be blunt. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞, you are not “busy”, you are losing money!

In Real Estate, Travel, Restaurants, B2B services the first reply usually wins.

A delayed response means:
🏃 The property inquiry goes to another developer
🏃 The travel lead books elsewhere
🏃 The restaurant table is gone
🏃 The B2B prospect moves to a faster vendor

⏳ Customers do not wait. They move on.

And here is the hard truth: Most businesses don’t lose leads because of pricing, ads or offers. They lose them because of slow follow-ups.

⚡ WhatsApp Automation changes this completely.

Instead of:
🐌 “We’ll reply when the team is free…”

You get:
🚀 Instant replies
🚀 Brochures, menus, catalogues sent in seconds
🚀 Leads are qualified automatically
🚀 Follow-ups running even when your team is offline

👌 Zero delay, Zero guesswork and Zero lead leakage.

Now, if this sounds complicated, it doesn’t have to be. We offer a done-for-you WhatsApp automation setup:
✔ Strategy
✔ Automation
✔ Integration
✔ Ongoing optimisation

🎯 You focus on closing. We ensure that every lead receives a lightning-fast response. Because in today’s market, speed converts.
