Last week, I had the opportunity to deliver a session on “Sound and Simplicity in Advertising” at SPUMBA - Post Graduate Department of Business Management, a part of Sardar Patel University.
What made the experience truly meaningful was meeting professors like Prof. (Dr.) Mitesh Jayswal, who go beyond the textbook to ensure students gain practical, real-world exposure. That commitment to applied learning makes all the difference.
The energy in the room was encouraging. The students didn’t just attend, they participated, questioned and challenged. Their curiosity proved one thing clearly: when given the right environment, young minds are eager to learn what truly works outside the classroom.
Advertising is not just about creativity; it’s about clarity, relevance and simplicity. And seeing future managers engage deeply with these ideas was both refreshing and motivating.
