2 Years. One Product. Two Creative Directions.
This project for Pexlar gave me an interesting opportunity to compare how my design approach has evolved — from a traditional design workflow to today’s AI-assisted creative process.
🔹 THE ORIGINAL — DESIGNED 2 YEARS AGO, WITHOUT AI
This Amazon advertising creative was originally designed around 2 years ago, using a completely traditional graphic design workflow.
No AI-generated visuals.
No AI-assisted creative exploration.
The focus was on product presentation, typography, composition, visual hierarchy and clear communication — creating a professional Amazon listing ad with the tools and techniques available at the time.
🔹 THE NEW DIRECTION — AI-ASSISTED DESIGN
Now, I revisited the same creative concept for Pexlar and explored what could be achieved by combining my design experience with modern AI tools.
The product, brand and core communication remained the same — but the visual direction evolved into something more cinematic, immersive, premium and contemporary.
The biggest takeaway?
AI didn't replace the designer. It expanded the designer's creative possibilities.
The original design represents where the project was 2 years ago.
The new version represents where design + AI-assisted creativity can take the same idea today.
Same client.
