E-commerce giant Flipkart apologized unsatisfied customers as the Big Billion Day sale faced lots of issue..

The main issues were.
1. Price Changes
2. Out of stock issue
3. Customer care unavailability
4. Cancellation problem
5. Over booking
6. New accounts were unable to shop.

But as they got their mistake, they apologized for the same. It was really a challenging task.

They had thousands of servers and had prepared for 15-20 times the usual traffic but the traffic was so heavy that they were unable to satisfy each and every customer.

The Big Billion sale generated $100 million of revenue on a single day. But this whole game cost them much more.

On the other hand, The key player of the e-com market, Amazon is about to do the same on 10 Oct i.e tomorrow. Lets see for their success. Definitely they will try to take care of the problems faced by flipkart and will try to make some good money.

Chat app Hike wants to be the gateway to the internet for India’s mobile-first generation

Hike currently has 35 million registered users, having added 15 million downloads in the past two months – 90 percent of these users are based in India, and half are active on the service each month. Hike says its users send and receive over 10 billion messages per day month, and the service is adding more than 300,000 new users each day too.
