I fall into this loop too sometimes.

You open social media and suddenly it feels like follower count has become a measurement for everything. Success. Intelligence. Influence. Talent. Relevance.

And then your brain starts spiralling into:
ā€œWhat the f**k am I even doing?ā€

But social media has never been that simple.

A creator with 800 followers could genuinely be changing lives quietly.
A business with 2K followers could be making more money than accounts with 200K.
Some incredibly talented people are still figuring out visibility.
Some smart people are terrible at marketing themselves.
Some amazing businesses struggle because their positioning or offer is unclear.

Algorithms are inconsistent.
Timing changes everything.
Distribution matters.
Niche clarity matters.
Communication matters.

Visibility and value are not always the same thing.

And I think many of us forget that sometimes while scrolling through perfectly curated feeds and viral numbers.

So if your growth feels slow right now, don’t immediately assume you’re untalented or behind in life.

Some people bloom loudly online.
Some build slowly and still become unforgettable.

Meet Sia.

My anxious little sidekick.

I once heard that naming your anxiety can make it easier to deal with.

So I gave mine a name.

She assumes the worst.
Questions everything.
Turns a typo into a career-ending event.
And occasionally suggests we disappear from the internet forever.

We’ve had our differences.

But somewhere along the way, I realized Sia isn’t trying to make my life harder.

She’s trying to protect me.

She’s just really, really bad at estimating danger.

So these days, I listen to her.

I just don’t let her make the decisions.

If you’ve ever overthought a text, compared your journey to someone else’s, or convinced yourself one small mistake meant everything was falling apart…

You might have a Sia too.

And if nobody relates to this?

Well…

Then it’ll just be me and Sia here. šŸ¤·šŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Follow along as I navigate entrepreneurship, creativity, overthinking, big dreams, and everything in between.

What would you name your anxious little sidekick?

I created this image with ChatGPT because honestly… it represented something I think a lot of entrepreneurs quietly feel.

After nearly a decade of building, creating, and figuring things out on my own, I still have days where I genuinely don’t know what I’m doing.

So obviously…
I decided to animate it at midnight because apparently that’s what creative people do.

Here’s my very honest review after testing multiple AI tools:

Meta AI:
Probably the easiest and best one for subtle animation right now.

I literally just asked it to animate, and it did a surprisingly good job.

No overthinking.
No intense prompting.
Just simple, smooth results.

Definitely my favorite for this one.

Veo:
A good option too, but it definitely needs a little more prompting from your side.

It took me a few tries to get something decent, and while the result was pretty solid, there were still small glitches here and there.

So yes, good…
But not effortless.

Flow:
Honestly?

For this kind of stylized animation…
Not my favorite.

I tried.
Multiple times.

Wasted credits too.

But it kept making everything way too realistic, changing the character completely, and somehow missing the whole point of preserving the original artwork.

So personally, I think Flow works much better for realistic-style videos rather than subtle animation like this.

My verdict?

Meta AI > Veo > Flow

AI tools are incredible, but let’s be real…
They’re not flawless.
At least not yet.

Different tools clearly serve different creative purposes.

And while there are probably more options out there, these are the free ones I tested, or at least the ones that let you experiment without immediately paying.

So if you’re curious?

Try them yourself.
That’s honestly the best way to figure out what actually works for your style.

My inner voice and I have a very complicated relationship.

She keeps making valid points.

I keep choosing not to hear them.

Then somehow I end up facing the exact consequences she warned me about, and she gets to be right again.

It’s honestly becoming a pattern. 😭

Tell me I’m not the only one arguing with the smartest person in the room.

My inner voice: eat, sleep, rest, drink water.

My entrepreneur self: wow… rude. šŸ˜”

Now tell me what ā€œhorribleā€ advice your inner voice keeps giving you. šŸ’€

Turns out, cutting out everything I love doesn’t make me better…it just removes half my personality. 😭

Yeah, I’d rather keep my joy.

Maybe you should too.

Instagram has launched a new feature called Instants.

Apparently, it also has a separate app, which I personally haven’t tested and honestly don’t really plan on downloading.

For now, you can access it directly through your Instagram DMs from the bottom right corner.

It lets you share quick photo moments with:
• Friends
• Close friends
(People you follow back)

You can also view other people’s Instants.

A few things:
• No view list like Stories
• People can like it
• Just quick, random photo sharing
• You can’t really review properly before it’s shared

It can be fun, but honestly, Instagram already has Stories, so I’m still not really seeing the point.

Very Snapchat-coded, don’t you think?

Have you tried Instants yet? What do you think?

She…can be graceful, but also surviving purely out of spite.

And honestly, that’s just life sometimes.

This one’s for the women out there doing their best, healing, protecting their peace, setting boundaries, re-setting them, and trying not to lose their senses every time life gets a little too comfortable testing them.

Because it can be messy.

It can be exhausting.

It’s realizing you don’t always have to be the bigger person, but sometimes still having to be.

Protecting your peace is tough.

But we’re all learning as we go, aren’t we?

And maybe every now and then, embracing her villain era isn’t such a bad thing either.

Is it just for engagement? Or are people actually hiring Social Media Managers?

We’ll never know šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

They know.

& they surely know that we don’t know!

How many such posts have you come across?

P.S: If you’re actually hiring & reach this post. You know where to find me. šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļø

Building a business has taught me something social media often forgets:

Not everything is about numbers.

Yes, growth matters.
Yes, strategy matters.
But constantly chasing validation through followers, likes, or virality can easily pull you away from what actually matters.

I’m not here to build noise.
I’m here to build something meaningful.

As a founder, I care more about trust than trends.
More about impact than impressions.
More about creating something sustainable than simply being seen.

Social media should support your vision, not define your worth.

Because real success isn’t just about attention.
It’s about building a brand, business, and life that genuinely aligns with who you are.

Build with purpose.
Grow with integrity.
And remember, your value was never meant to be measured by temporary metrics.

How do you define success beyond social media numbers?
