A BOOK ENTERS THE NDA LIBRARY — AND A STRONGER NORTHEAST–INDIA CONNECT TAKES ROOT.
In a significant moment highlighting the spirit of national unity, North East Connect, a book documenting the rich cultural heritage, aspirations, achievements and contribution of Northeast India, was presented to the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA), Khadakwasla, Pune.
The book was presented by Somjit Dutta, on behalf of North East Development Initiative (NEDI), under the aegis of ABK Media India Pvt. Ltd.
The presentation marks more than the addition of a book to the NDA library. It represents an effort to strengthen the connection between Northeast India and one of the country’s premier institutions for developing future defence leaders.
North East Connect seeks to bring the Northeast closer to the hearts and minds of people across the country by showcasing its diverse communities, traditions, landscapes, human potential and remarkable contributions to India.
With the book now finding a place in the NDA Library, NEDI hopes that cadets, officers, instructors and scholars will explore the Northeast not merely as a geographical region, but as a vibrant land of courage, culture, patriotism and opportunity.
