Here's more about the amazing campaigns mentioned above:
1. Swiggy brought our favourite uncle back on screen with a very heart-warming and candid campaign. In this ad-campaign, 70-something uncle steps out of his routine to enjoy and appreciate different cuisines. This campaign is excellent in many ways, due to its emotional essence and clear messaging.
2. The Dove Campaign for Real Beauty is a worldwide marketing campaign launched by Unilever in 2004 aiming to build self confidence in women and young children. It perfectly enunciates the message that true beauty comes in all shapes, sizes, colours, races, and ages.
3. To make a greater effort at transparency and engagement, Mc Donald's promised its consumers to honestly answer all their questions related to quality and origins of the food they make. It boosted the credibility of the brand at a mammoth scale.
4. Prior to the Clairol hair dye campaign, begun in 1957, hair dyeing was considered a bit of a taboo and most of the population had already accepted how hair would eventually turn out at old age. They then released the hair dye campaign with the simple yet effective tagline “Does She or Doesn’t She?” The campaign was apparently so successful that some states stopped requiring women to denote hair color on their driver’s license.
5. In 2019, PUMA wanted to re-ignite its global positioning “Do You” in India, to connect with its women consumers. The ‘Propah Lady’ campaign is a high decibel campaign that shattered, or well, rewrote the very rule-book that the society had put together on how to be a proper lady.
Which one of these campaigns do you find the most interesting?
