We Have Hit Rock Bottom. More Than Once.
And honestly, we’ve lost count.
When COVID paused the world, three friends left the comfort of 9-to-5 jobs to start our first venture in interior design.
We were hopeful. Excited. Ready to build something of our own.
But life had other plans.
We started in February 2021, and by November 2021, we had to shut it down.
Not because we wanted to.
Because we had to.
That was our first rock bottom.
But rock bottom does not end you.
It re-invents you.
In December 2021, with more clarity, stronger goals, and a better understanding of what we truly wanted to build, we, Aishwarya and Pratik, started again from scratch.
That is how DMS Designs was born.
Today, DMS Designs is trusted by D2C brands, B2B businesses, and legacy brands for growth, storytelling, content, campaigns, and brand presence.
Over the years, we’ve seen wins. We’ve seen failures. And honestly, we’ve learned from every bit of it.
Last month, we felt something strange.
It felt like rock bottom again.
Not because things were going wrong.
But because everything was going right.
The systems were working.
The team was growing.
Clients were seeing results beyond what was promised.
But one thing was missing: experimentation.
And the moment comfort starts settling in, we push ourselves to get uncomfortable again.
To question more.
To test more.
To build better.
Through all of this, one thing has become very clear:
DMS is not built by just the two of us.
It is built by every person who became part of this journey.
Every team member who joined.
Every team member who left.
Every candidate who rejected us.
Every client who trusted us.
Every client who said no.
Every setback made us think deeper.
Every person shaped DMS in some way.
And even now, this still feels like the beginning.
DMS is growing. DMS is learning. DMS is getting better.
This journey is not about having it all figured out.
It is about choosing to rebuild after every fall.
If you are a founder reading this, we would genuinely love to hear your story too.
Maybe we can help each other grow.
