Who we’re looking for...
We are looking for an Art Director/Senior Visualiser from an agency background to craft, direct and oversee the visual identity of our brand and marketing communications across digital and social media, as well as print and offline media. As the Art Director you’ll be responsible for brainstorming, conceptualizing, designing and ex*****on of creative concepts for digital branding and advertising, social media campaigns, and a wide array of marketing communications across media. You should have in-depth knowledge of visual communication aesthetics, graphic design, trends in the industry, superb visual storytelling capabilities and a penchant for anything creative. If your interests include photography, sketching and illustration, film-making, etc, it would be a big plus.
What you’ll do...
Generate clear ideas, concepts and design assets with creative effectiveness, and doing so by introducing and applying expert art direction to creative projects.
Develop the brand’s visual language (colour palette, logo, font, etc.) across a range of media
Develop visual designs through personas, storyboards, mood boards, iconography, photography and illustrations.
Demonstrate ownership of the entire design process with solid conceptual and visualization skills across the creative journey from ideation to go-live.
Motivate and inspire the team to come up with cutting-edge brand and communication design solutions.
Proactively participate in the ideation and brainstorming sessions.
Stay on top of the latest standards, changes and trends in the visual design field.
Compare the brand’s expression across different channels and can identify consistencies/inconsistencies and gaps, as well as recommend solutions.
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
Drive designs from concept to launch. You are confident steering a project from the earliest ideation phases all the way through final delivery.
You should have...
Experience of 1-3 years as a visualiser/art director in creative agencies.
Experience in branding, social media campaigns and advertising for leading brands.
Exceptional knowledge and experience working with Adobe Creative Suite such as Illustrator & Photoshop. Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After effects or other video tools is a plus.
Experience in employing colour, type, illustration and typography.
Have a diverse body of work on brands and marketing promotions with a strong base in digital platforms.
The ability to provide a rationale for design choices.
A Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts / Commercial Art / Graphic Design would be a huge advantage.
