🌳 Tree Plantation Scams — The Truth Nobody Wants to Talk About

We all love trees. In Indian culture, especially Hindu traditions, trees are seen as living gods — Neem, Peepal, Banyan, Mango, Coconut. They’re sacred, emotional, and symbolic.

But the irony is painful.
In cities like Bangalore, mass deforestation happens in the name of “development,” and thousands of these “living gods” were cut down without a single major protest. Citizens who worship trees stayed silent when they were butchered.

🌱 The Reality of Replantation

After chopping mature trees, authorities and NGOs perform a symbolic act of “planting saplings.”

The survival rate? Less than 0.5%.
In most cases, these saplings are never cared for, watered, or monitored. They die quietly, just like the idea behind the campaign.

Yet the sentiment around trees is strong — and this emotional weakness has become a goldmine.

💰 Where the Scam Begins

Because people love trees, crooks love “tree planting drives.”

The moment corporations and citizens show emotions, NGOs and self-proclaimed environmentalists show their “business proposals.”

Do you remember the ₹40 sapling scam linked to a popular spiritual figure, where plants procured from the Karnataka Forest Department for ₹1 were resold using CSR money at 40–50 times the cost?
CSR funds worth hundreds to thousands of crores vanished in the name of “saving the rivers” and “restoring forests.”

📊 The Numbers Don’t Add Up

Today, just in Bangalore:

Thousands of NGOs
Each claiming they planted thousands, lakhs, even millions of trees

If you add up all their claims, Bangalore should look like the Amazon rainforest by now — but we all know it doesn’t.

On top of that:

BBMP runs its own ₹500-per-sapling programs
Karnataka Forest Department plants lakhs of saplings every year

So where exactly are these “millions” of trees planted by NGOs?

Why does the survival rate remain so poor?
And why do so many “tree warriors” only show up for photo ops?

🐝 The Only True Tree Planters

The real contributors to afforestation are:

Birds 🕊️
Bees 🐝
Ants 🐜
Insects 🐞
Wind 🍃
Soil organisms 🪱
Nature itself 🏞️

Forests grow without human PR campaigns, without fancy logos, and without CSR money.

🚫 When Planting Becomes a Scam

Planting trees is a noble act. It’s therapy. It’s service. It’s humanity.

But when people do it:

for money
for grants
for awards
for publicity

then it becomes fraud.

Worst of all is the trend of branding their names on naturally grown trees, taking credit for what nature created through pollination. This should be criminalized.

If someone plants trees genuinely —respect them.

But if someone plants lies instead of trees, exposes public emotions for personal gain, and inflates numbers to fool corporates they deserve punishment, not awards.

Yesterday, I woke up to the sound of fireworks and quickly realized RCB had won. Within 10 minutes, I saw a group of rowdy youngsters on bikes shouting “RCB!” and creating a public nuisance. It made me reflect on how misplaced our collective priorities are.

On one hand, we’re battling poverty, pollution, corruption, illiteracy, superstition, and rising crime rates. Yet, our media gives prime-time coverage to IPL scores as if it's national news. My friends know me as a die-hard cricket fan — someone who not only enjoys the game but also deeply analyses it. But modern cricket has turned into a circus, and sadly, all I see now are clowns. Thanks to the IPL, the game has lost its soul.

Let me ask something simple: the West Indies team has been a disaster for nearly two decades, often failing to even qualify for major tournaments. And yet, the same players — Gayle, Pollard, Bravo, Russell, Narine, Shepherd, Holder, Rutherford, and others — dominate the IPL, winning games single-handedly. Why is it that when they play for their nation, they repeatedly fail and seem uninterested in improving?

Meanwhile, Indian citizens, hooked on Dream11 fantasies, need to realise that cricketers like Kohli, Rohit, etc., are not gods — they’re ambassadors of betting and fantasy platforms like MPL and Dream11. The same goes for actors like Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir, Salman, and Akshay Kumar — all endorsing harmful products like Vimal.

Our education system has failed to instill basic common sense. Cricketers, bureaucrats, actors, politicians, and business tycoons are not divine beings or role models. When RCB or CSK wins or loses, some people act like their world is ending. I wish they showed the same concern for their own families.

Let’s be clear — RCB won’t provide you
rice, and CSK won’t cook your curry.
Entertainment is fine, but for heaven’s sake, let Indian citizens develop a little wisdom and stop treating cricket and cinema as reality!

Find My Phone is the basic feature that everyone needs to enable as a responsible citizen. The amount of mobiles stolen or lost in India is truly insane. It's crazy & stupid to spend a lot of time & resources on tracing them, & don't even keep any hopes unless you have enabled the feature.

Trust me, everyone is bound to lose their phones someday, and it's worth a feature to use as a mandate.

I think Indian Police is really Inefficient and I'm talking with solid data and evidence. I have a reason to make this post, as I understand my actions can help thousands of victims suffering due to online abuse and lending fraud and Indian Police Inefficiency. I believe I'm one of the greatest SCAMBUSTERS India has ever produced, seeing my past actions with the ability to think ahead of time.

This is just an alert message as well.

Usually during the month ends I get broke and recently tried a few salary loan apps, which I successfully returned with high interest without any fuss. But one illegal app is blackmailing me about sharing my digitally edited n**e pictures with my friends, contacts, relatives, office contacts, etc. As if I really care!

Secondly, about my edited n**es, I thought of messaging the recovery agent to add Ranveer Singh, Novak Djokovic, or John Cena bodies while using photoshop apps, but these guys take humor seriously, so I refrained. And the Indian Police have comprehension issues where most of the crimes and criminals get an easy victory, so I refrained from it.

Incident details:

While browsing and exploring salary apps, I accidentally downloaded the APK named CashAssist on June 2.

FYI: Google has updated its Play Store policies support page regarding financial service apps on Android.

Effective May 31, 2023, personal loan apps will no longer be allowed to access users' contacts and photos. Google is also introducing a strict requirement for all loan apps to submit additional country-specific documentation to prove legitimacy.

As I had downloaded the APK file from CashAssist, Google has no control over these scammers and the actual reason I objected to the loan immediately. I got two loans the same day from Lendingplate and SalaryNow, which I accepted after reading the terms and conditions, consent, and legal procedures, and I also cleared them happily and gracefully on June 5.

When I received a loan from CashAssist without my consent directly transferring 3600 to my account, I immediately contacted them by searching on Facebook, as they don't even have a customer care number or email address. These scammers operate somewhere in the north without real numbers using WhatsApp numbers, as they believe police cannot trace them. They think Indian police are useless & incapable of catching them.

I returned the loan of 3600 immediately the same day and messaged them on their multiple pages, stating I had returned the loan immediately within 2 hours.

Today, a recovery agent called and started abusing me with profanity in Hindi. Let's not confuse these north Indian scammers with Chinese people; they are impersonating Chinese loan app lenders, though they are proper north Indians.

I have every detail about these scammers, as I claim to be one of the best scambusters in India, but the question is, is the Indian police ready to do their basic job or work for the decent salaries they receive to crack these silly cases?

I spoke to some of my female friends who were victims of these loan apps in the past; they were equally blackmailed, and they ended up paying 3–4 times more than the actual weekly loan they took to repay 400–500% interest, fearing n**e edits.

What's the Indian Police doing is a big question? When I called in 1930, they asked me to go to the local police station. Do you think I should waste my time going to the local station?
