October 5th, 2024, was a memorable day for Dr. Mahanthesh Biradar—author, cyclist, multifaceted personality, and PRO to Minister Shri M.B. Patil. It was also a special day for the people of Vijayapura, as the distinguished figures of Vijayapura gathered at Anubhava Mantapa Hall, Basava Samithi, in Bengaluru for the release of the book MukhaPustakada Mareyalagada Mukhagalu, authored by Mahanthesh Biradar. The book is a collection of encounters with various personalities from different walks of life, including politicians, saints, businessmen, NRIs, and bureaucrats, all cryptically profiled without losing the essence of their individuality.
The event was chaired by Shri Aravinda Jatti, President of Basava Jatti and son of Shri B D Jatti, with Sri G.S. Siddaramaiah, Chairman of the Kannada Development Authority, as the chief guest. Sri Ganesh Amingad of Kavita Prakashana is the publisher of the book. My colleague, Naveen Kumar T.M., who designed the inside pages of the book, was honored on the occasion.
