THINK LIKE A THIEF OR BEYOND
- We strongly believe that, everything happens to us is for a reason & for good
- That is how we're dealing with the recent burglary in our newly opened Print Genie office with 8 CCTV cameras & a locker system in Seegehalli area.
- If you think that, with high technology night vision CCTV cameras your asset is safe, it is not. Why because? thieves think beyond the technology & time.
Below are our lesson learnt that I like to share with you all:
- Please don't feel ashamed, share the incident sooner with your friends, neighbours & alert your neighborhood, that keeps the business low for burglars camped in your area currently.
- Strong shutter to your shop or great looking door to your house is not enough, we need to install extra safety bars/doors or more INTERNAL/tech sensitive locks to make it hard to open & time taking.
- When you have strong doors or multiple doors, it takes time for the burglar to break open. That way, they will avoid your place after their preliminary check or spying the spot
- Also installing CCTV cameras are good to check how it has happened or for your corrective measures later, but also invest in installing motion alarms or door open alarms etc to stop the incident when it happens.
- Don't keep your money or valuables in a place where the thieves could easily guess or access it. In particular don't keep it in locker even if it is hard to open (In our case they carried the locker itself with them)
- All you need to do is, think like a thief or beyond, so that you could make it even more hard & time taking for them.
I hope this helps to save your hard earned money & your most valuable assets.
