In today’s tidings, we are talking about the pocket watch that made the watch world collectively lose its mind.

Audemars Piguet × Swatch did not just launch Royal Pop.

They dropped a tiny, colourful, wildly unexpected cultural gr***de.
AP brought the Royal Oak codes. Swatch brought the 80s pop energy.
And together, they turned a pocket watch into something that felt less like traditional horology and more like fashion, fandom, flex, and collectible chaos.

That is the magic.

They did not make a cheaper Royal Oak. They made a new object of desire.

A lanyard instead of a waiting list. A pocket watch instead of a wristwatch. A conversation starter instead of just another collab.
But then came the queues, the closures, the resale spikes, and the global headlines.

Because hype can make a brand hotter. But if the experience cracks under the pressure, it can burn trust just as fast.

The big takeaway?
Great collabs do not just create new products. They create new behaviour.

They make people show up, queue up, post about it, argue about it, and want to be part of the moment.
And when access becomes the flex, the drop becomes bigger than the product.

Most brands think they have a design problem.

So they change the logo.
Refresh the colours.
Build a cooler website.
Create AI Clean aesthetics

Rewrite the Instagram bio.

For a few weeks, it feels like progress.

But eventually, the same problem circles back.

Because the issue was never just the aesthetics.
It was the absence of clarity underneath it all.

What does the brand stand for?
Why should people care?
What space does it truly own?
What makes it different beyond visuals and vocab?

Most businesses skip these questions

because design feels faster than introspection.

But branding was never meant to be decoration.
It’s meant to create direction.

The strongest brands aren’t just visually attractive.
They are deeply understood internally before externally.

Their teams know what they stand for.
Their customers know what to expect.
Their decisions feel consistent.
Their communication feels intentional.

That kind of clarity cannot be achieved through mere cosmetic upgrades.

A better logo can improve perception.
But only strategy can improve meaning.

Meaningless brands get replaced faster.

We’re open for conversations, are you?

This week’s spotlights .

BARCA NAPOLETANA transforms fish can packaging through a bold maritime inspired concept, turning the container itself into a boat shaped silhouette that reflects the brand’s seafaring roots. A crisp white and deep orange palette creates striking contrast, balancing freshness with richness, while subtle Italian flag details reinforce its heritage.

Packaging that turns storytelling into form.

In today's tidings, luxury is doing something that goes against two decades of instinct. It is closing stores. On purpose. With conviction.

Not because physical retail is dying. Because the wrong locations are killing brands quietly, one underperforming square metre at a time.

Kering closed 133 stores in a single year. Gucci is cutting its selling space by 20%. The goal is not to shrink. It is to concentrate. To stop spreading thin and start going deep. Fewer doors. Bigger bets. Sharper returns.

The stores that survive will have to earn their place every single day. Not just by selling product but by creating desire, signalling status, and building the kind of memory that no website ever could.

And here is the part that applies to every brand, not just the houses on Rue Saint-Honoré. A smaller footprint can be a louder brand. Legacy is not a reason to keep a weak store open. And a good lease deal is never the same thing as a good address.

Swipe through and ask yourself the real question. Is every store you have actually doing its job?

🚨 Everybody loves strategy,
until the market throws the first punch.

Brands built in isolation often confuse preparation with readiness.
Because decks don’t challenge you.
Consumers do.
Competitors do.
Culture does.

The real test of a business begins when:
- someone undercuts your pricing,
- a campaign flops,
- a competitor moves faster,
- or the audience ignores.

That’s when brands discover whether they were built on assumptions or resilience.

You don’t grow by working in silos.
You grow by stepping into the ring.
The opponent matters.
The friction matters.
The punches matter.

That’s where sharper brands are built.

The Big Wave is here! 🌊

A brand like deserves a digital home that matches its energy, and when they set out to revamp their website, we got to be a part of that journey.

Our contribution? The right imagery for every section, crafted for both mobile and desktop experiences, iconography that fits the brand world, and copy that went with the brand’s flow.

In loving memory of our beloved Bhopu. 🤍📯
For years, this little honk wasn’t just a sound, it was a feeling.
The official announcement of chai breaks, stolen conversations, shared laughter, and tiny moments of peace in the middle of busy days.
One honk, and somehow everyone knew:
‘Chai is ready… come together.’
Today, the voice that gathered us is finally resting after years of loyal service. Torn, worn out, but deeply loved.
Thank you for being a small part of so many beautiful office memories.
You may be silent now, but your honk will echo in our hearts forever. ☕✨
2019–2026
Rest in peace, Bhopu.
