Recently, our Co-Founder, Abhilash K, was invited to be part of a podcast that celebrates the 100th year anniversary of the Walt Disney Company and honours the genius of Walt Disney.


Organised by What's New Today || Kids & family podcast], Abhilash had the opportunity to interact with students from the Children's Academy and S.M. Shetty International School and Jr. College, Mumbai. He shared his experience as an illustrator and the process of how illustrations and cartoons come to life. It was so encouraging to see the palpable interest children have in animation and their keen observations on many of their favourite Disney cartoons.

It's a fun and informative episode to listen into! Thank you, Revati for this opportunity, and a big thanks to Sangeetha for this riveting conversation.

A done for Troo Good chikkis. Very often we have seen good packaging for peanut chikkis because it's too commercial and bad packaging for and alternative options like . Our initial approach was to first build a brand architecture and narrative. Millet is called as wonder grain. With that idea we decided to narrate visual stories of how kids look at everything with wonder. There are no scientific reasoning, so how they perceive anything is purely out of curiosity and innocence. This series of illustrates different scenarios of kids and how they imagine simple things. It was also an effort to clearly show that healthy products can also have good packaging and good story. And something like millet chikkis deserve it. Wonderfilled Millets.

Sometimes what we imagine and what we execute can change a lot while we are on a set to shoot. This was an improvised shot by . We were wondering how to compose the whole visual and meanwhile Agatha said why not i just stretch my legs sitting on bed instead of just sitting. And that worked. We got a nice diagonal line of action on a perspective shot.

Branding doesn't mean just "make my logo bigger." Make my logo bigger is fear when you feel your content is not upto the mark. We constantly deal with this statement. Branding is nothing but connection between the company and consumer. As. visual identity designers we always think how to make visuals look appealing, relatable, persuasive and there are ways to do it. In this series of sleepyhead sense, we have tried incorporate brand colour as pop against a similar tone of blue. That's just one way. Working with models is something we always love. They enhance the still images with emotions. And there are so much details to look for. Acting, costumes, hair and make up, set design, composition, light and shadows, line of action and so much more. Having said that has been my favourite of all time. Recently we realised how important it is that we have a model who is willing to listen and understand what we are trying to do. She just lights up the set with her energy and definitely enhances our ideas. That is more from the heart and less from the head.
