Introduction to business and digital marketing-

In a business goods and services are exchanged with one another or for money.
In digital marketing we fulfill marketing objectives of identifying customer needs through digital channels. Such as-

 Social Media
 E-Mail
 Mobile Apps

Every businessman requires some form of investment and enough customers to whom its output can be sold in order to make a profit and for this the strategy of a businessman plays an important role which can lead to success or failure of business.

It is important for getting success to fulfil the expectations of its customers and to work for their betterment and it is only possible when the businesses works in his own budget and avoid unnecessary expenses.

For this i would like to give one recommendation that why to go for offline when digital marketing is available for the same work at cheaper rates. The time for offline only business is over and customers are also getting more attracted towards digital shopping offers. If you don’t update yourself with the changing times then your competitors will throw you out from the market. After that you have no rights to blame anyone, because fault is yours only.

Expectations of customers-

Customers are the backbone for designing future of any business; if you are not giving priority to their needs and expectations then it is of no use to think about success of business

Here is a list of some major expectations of customers from a business-

 They want your products to function in the same way they need to solve their problems.

 They have unique budgets to purchase goods and services, they wish the products from you which suits best with their budgets.

 Products which your business is offering needs to be compatible with other products that your customer is already using.

 When they get in touch with customer service they want empathy from person assisting them.

 Products offered by you should be designed in a way that should be easy to use.

Digital Marketing as a godfather-

Many business owner and up by being disappointed with digital marketing not due to the reason that it is ineffective but due to their false expectations when beginning with digital marketing.

There are some expectations or myth about digital marketing that will lead to failure but their positive reality will lead to success for every business-

It is only for large companies.

 Reality:

The time for offline only business is over. Even for smaller companies it is necessary to come online and digital marketing is essential when you are online.

If you think that investing a single dollar is going to amount thousands of dollar in return than i highly recommend you to play lottery instead because that is the only place where you are going to find odds like that.

For getting success, size of the business doesn’t matters. The only thing matters is your strategy for promotion and marketing because these both are essential elements of business.
In today’s technology based business market, digital marketing is best, easiest and cheapest way for promotion and marketing.

I am writing my today’s blog to do an in depth discussion on social media and social media marketing with u all. We all are regular users of internet or we can say that we became addicted to social media because it is our necessity. Before we proceed further i would like to request you all to ask a question with yourself only that you are the real user of social media or social media is using you? It is good to keep yourself updated and to stay in touch with the society but only chatting and watching videos is not the purpose of social media. If you are unaware from this that for what social media is meant for you are not eligible to call yourself a modern social media user. It simply means that you are not making a use of social media; social media is making use of you.

WHAT IS SOCIAL MEDIA?

.No doubt in this question, anyone can easily say that it is the combination of text messages, entertainment and video calling but its formal definition includes much more and it is necessary for all of us to become aware of it .
Social Media is a combination of 2 terms social and media

Social refers to-
Interacting with other people by sharing information with them and receiving information from them.

Media refers to-
An instrument of communication like internet (TV, radio, newspapers are also good sources to spread information but they are examples of traditional form of media).

“Social media is a collection of online platforms and tools that people use to share content, profiles, opinions, insights, experiences, perspectives and media itself facilitating conversations and interactions online between groups of people. Social networking is the act of connecting on social media platforms.

SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING-

Social media marketing means to make best use of social media platforms (social media networks, mobile phones) to promote good and services online. Social media plays the role of a godfather in this task because it is the best source for spreading information; it also works as a communication tool that makes the company accessible to those interested in their product and makes them visible to those who have no knowledge of their products. Social media marketing is also time saving and its rates are also cheaper than traditional marketing. This all qualities make social media marketing a priority and trustful platform for marketers.

You don’t believe if i say more than 10 crore people in our country check their mobile phones after every 10 minutes and this graph will increase in future because of reductions in data costs. If you are in business or a professional then social media will surely works for you as a partner to stay in touch with your clients, but just to stay in touch is not everything. There are several points on which attention is to be paid by the professional for getting success in his field.

Recommendations-

 Focus on your customer, not on you ( if majority clients gives priority to whatsapp then it is of no use to promote the goods which are targeting that specific clients only on facebook or on any other platform.)

 If you created a account or a webpage to attract clients but u didn’t post anything on it, will leave negative impression on clients. If you are not interested than its better not to spread false rumours.

SOCIAL MEDIA V/S SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING-

Social media and social media marketing sounds the same and majority people makes the mistake of taking it in the same sense, the tools and processes they refers to are distinctly different However by using social media to create effective social marketing campaigns, it will be helpful for your brand and organisation to make a big difference in people’s life and in communities from which they belong.

Future is unpredictable and the world of social media is everchanging. What is popular and happening right now was not popular two weeks ago and will be dead after 2 months. It is difficult or else we can say it is impossible to stay updated with social trends. No one can make any forecast about the future of social media marketing because social media marketing has always been thought of as the art and science of gaining website traffic and ultimately the attention of your ideal customers through social networking websites.

So by keeping our present graph of social media users and its opportunities we can surely say that future of social media and social media marketing is very bright.
