X Chat changes how messaging works by removing the need for a phone number — you can connect using just your X handle, keeping your personal number private.
It focuses heavily on privacy, offering end-to-end encryption along with advanced features like screenshot blocking and two-way message recall (no “message deleted” trace).
Unlike WhatsApp’s 2GB limit, X Chat allows unrestricted file sharing, making it more flexible for large files.
The app is built as a standalone messaging platform, giving a clean, distraction-free chat experience similar to Messenger.
Plus, it’s designed to be ad-free and tracking-free, unlike Meta apps that rely on advertising.
