5 Tips to Improve Your Facebook Ads Campaigns
1. TEST ONE ELEMENT AT A TIME:
When running tests on Facebook Ads, you can change the ad creative, headline, text & CTA.
Modify only one element so you can get a clear idea of what's working & what's not.
2. DON'T MODIFY THE RUNNING ADS:
This is a common mistake that many of us do, even I have done in the past.
When you make changes in the already running ad, you interrupt its momentum that can affect tracking the differences in performance.
So, whether you are running ads on Facebook or Google, don't modify it. Pause the campaign & create a new one.
3. AVOID AUTOMATIC PLACEMENTS:
Your single Ad creative, text & headline that you are using may not be suitable to use everywhere.
If you use automatic placements, it will run the ads almost everywhere (stories, feed, marketplace, right column, etc.), even there it's unlikely to perform.
4. USE GOOGLE ANALYTICS:
While measuring the performance of the ads, don't only look at the stats provided by Facebook; instead, go deep.
Google Analytics will give you more data like the bounce rate, which users (desktop/mobile) are spending more time on the landing page, etc. It will help you to decide where to spend more.
5. UPDATE THE CREATIVE TIME TO TIME:
Your best performing ads may stop giving results like it used to provide after a certain time. It's called ad fatigue.
So, make the required changes whenever the performance starts to go down.
