What do you measure when there is nothing to sell?
No product to push. No lead to generate. Just a story that deserves to be remembered.
That was one of the most meaningful social media mandates we worked on at ePrimacy.
We managed the social media presence of an Indian Braveheart who made the ultimate sacrifice for the country, and his wife, a Veer Nari.
The Braveheart’s profile was built as a living tribute to his life and legacy. We used content to keep his story alive, share relevant defence news, highlight serving officers and build a community around his memory.
His wife’s profile told a different story. A teacher, counsellor, Veer Nari, author, mother and co-founder, her content reflected her journey while also creating conversations around women in defence.
Books became another part of the storytelling: she, as an author, wrote a book about her husband, while her brother, inspired by her journey, wrote a book about her life as a Veer Nari.
There wasn’t a magical number we were chasing.
Success wasn’t simply about reach or conversions. It was about building a community that cared, helping a younger generation discover stories of courage and sacrifice, and giving memories a digital life.
And it taught us something important:
Marketing isn’t always about making people buy something. Sometimes, it’s about making people remember something.
Sometimes, the most meaningful thing marketing can do is simply give a story the audience it deserves.
