Facebook was valued $84B on the day of its IPO offering,which is larger than any Internet companies.The reason was believed to be its strong advertising reach to 900 million users and its current advertising revenue.In 2 weeks,FB saw a historic IPO failure of 30% and came down to $57B.Unfortunately,Business conversions in FB advertisements are 5 times lower than Google advertisings for the same investment amount.
Moral of the story : Its hard to fool the market.
