JOB TITLE: PRODUCT MANAGER

1. Establishing Strong Customer Base For Product Portfolio
2. Strategic Direction & Support To The Sales Team For A Consistent Rise In Sales & Strengthening Market Shares Of Products
3. Developing & Maintaining Relationships With The Key Opinion Leaders
4. Devising Robust Marketing Strategies In Line With The Corporate Mission & Enhance The Company Image
5. Ensure Competence of Sales Force Through Required Product Training & Latest Updates
MAJOR DUTIES PERFORMED (MAIN FUNCTIONS):
Establishing product portfolio, product mapping & achieve right product positioning based on various parameters; Move towards solutions selling rather than product selling
Conception of marketing strategies, preparation of marketing plans and its implementation as per global standards
Establish alliance & maintain good rapport with Key Opinion Leaders and patronage to our products, Creating database of referrals & create Champions to provide information and technical details to the team
Effective & Timely handling all queries
Conceptualizing and guiding for organizing CME's
Preparation of CME kit for conducting CMEs in various hospital across the country to serve as basic guideline for sales team to conduct the same; Plan & ensure the conduct of pre decide number of CMEs / Seminars in a quarter / year
Product training to all new joinees and regular updates through selected means; Aim at improving - man management skills, CRM skills, closing sales & Price resistance
All activities related to preparation of product literature as per decided periodicity; Ensuring availability of the brochures, leaflets, demo stocks, gimmicks, samples etc.
Generation & Periodic updation of Market Intelligence data; Analysis of raw data to identify patterns & trends; provide precise conclusions; Analysis of competitors information / strategies & market trends and passing on the information to the team
Technical support for registering the products in formulary of all hospitals of the territory, if applicable
Any other assignments which is given from time to time & as and when required to perform in line with the purpose of the job
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS TO BE ACHIEVED (KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES):
1. Strengthen Market share for all products under preview
2. Development of strong Key Opinion Leaders network and patronage to product portfolio of responsibility
3. Optimum level of product knowledge as well as other relevant competencies of the sales team & dealers with updates on latest market information
4. Effectively running of marketing campaigns and workshops
