Your target audience refers to the specific group of consumers most likely to want your product or service.

You can target your audience by demographics and create custom or lookalike audiences to target users similar to your best customers.

You can also use retargeting ads to target users who have interacted with your page, or visited your website.

On Facebook, you can directly target users by:

* Age
* Gender
* Interests
* Connections
* Relationship Status
* Languages
* Education
* Workplaces

Each option can be useful, depending on your audience. Most businesses should focus on location, age, gender, and interests.
