Myth: "I should ignore bad reviews so they go away."
Fact: Ignoring a bad review is worse than the review itself!
When a potential customer sees a negative review with zero response, they assume you don't care. But when they see a calm, professional reply, they think: "Wow, this business actually listens."
Responding to negative reviews shows future customers that you are proactive. Plus, Google’s algorithm loves engagement (even on the tough stuff!).
How to handle a 1-Star Review:
Apologize (even if it's not your fault).
Take it offline ("Please email us at...").
Keep it short and professional.
Turn a negative into a positive!
