For NGOs and development organisations, an annual report isn’t just a compliance document.
It’s where your work, your learning, and your impact come together as a story.
A well-written report builds trust, speaks to funders, strengthens partnerships, and clearly shows the change you’re creating on the ground.
At Development Partners Network (DPN), we work closely with corporates, governments, NGOs, and individuals committed to sustainable and equitable development. Our work spans:
📊 Project management
📝 Research, documentation & report writing
📈 Monitoring & evaluation
🎯 Fundraising & marketing support
💻 Information technology
👥 Capacity building & HR support
We help organisations make sense of their data and experiences, and turn them into clear, honest, and funder-ready annual reports that truly reflect their mission and impact.
Because when the work you do matters, the way you tell its story should too.
📩 Let your impact speak — clearly and confidently.

Development Partners Network is currently conducting an Impact Assessment Study across five villages—Gidhiya, Nigai, Chanchi Khurd, Dumar, and Kota—in Kone Block of Sonbhadra district, Uttar Pradesh. The study aims to independently assess the outcomes of watershed and water conservation interventions implemented to strengthen water security, agricultural productivity, and community resilience.

The assessment will document key works completed under the project, including 11,747 running meters of nala deepening and two check dams, and evaluate their impact on water availability, cropping patterns, livelihoods, ecological restoration, and social inclusion. Special attention is being given to understanding how these interventions have benefited women, smallholders, and marginalized communities.

As part of the study, the team is engaging closely with local stakeholders through Focus Group Discussions (FGDs), Key Informant Interviews (KIIs), and field observations, while also building the capacity of Community Resource Persons (CRPs) to support robust and participatory data collection.

This exercise reflects our shared commitment to learning, accountability, and adaptive programming, ensuring that community-led water management initiatives are guided by evidence and grounded in local realities. The insights generated will inform future strategies and help scale sustainable, inclusive solutions for rural resilience.

On this International Women's Day, we at the Development Partners Network, celebrate and honour the achievements of women producers, farmers, entrepreneurs, and artisans from rural communities in India.
Carefully drafted gender-responsive policies and interventions could help transform unequal gender relations in societies. Policies and programs need to be grounded in a more nuanced understanding of gender relations and gender roles for sustainable socio-ecological outcomes. We continue to strive towards our vision of a society that values diversity, eliminates gender biases and promotes equality. We support gender-sensitive projects and believe in the equal participation of women in development. Therefore, we design programs, and conduct research and studies which are gender sensitive in nature.

Climate-Smart Agriculture was originally defined in a 2010 study by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Climate change, according to the research, has harmed agriculture. At the same time, the analysis found that agricultural greenhouse gas emissions exacerbated climate change. Climate-Smart Agriculture was envisioned as a means for farmers to handle these dual issues while sustaining yields. Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) is a set of farming methods designed to increase the resilience and productivity of land affected by climate change.

Meet the entrepreneur of the week, Ms Meenakshi Walke- The Bamboo Lady of India

Meenakshi Walke began her career as a bamboo craftsman from inside the confines of her home with just Rs. 50 worth of bamboo work. Only after attending a course in Chandrapur did she begin creating designs. After that, she received no more instruction, and according to her husband, her intrinsic skill and talent for artwork led her to become a bamboo entrepreneur and teacher, guiding the futures of the other 15-20 women crafts workers.

Abhisar Innovatives is a social enterprise for disadvantaged women from the Naxal-affected tribal area. This is the only organization that sells to five different European nations. It was established to assist women in learning the craft and earning a living. It is registered under the Small Industries Development Corporation and MSME, as designated by the Government of India's Textile Ministry. Meenakshi's husband is pleased with her efforts in social services. She left her 6-year-old kid with her family and travelled to a Naxal area near Chattisgarh to train indigenous women. He claims that everyone works for his or her personal benefit, but Meenakshi is one of those who works selflessly for the sake of others.

The hurdles of growing a small-scale firm are numerous, but if the entrepreneur is a woman, the problems double. She had to deal with a lot of negative comments since she was one of the few female entrepreneurs in the bamboo sector. What the government might do, she believes, is assist individuals like her in establishing capital, at the very least by assisting them in purchasing small machinery.
