Here’s one of our Strategists, , weighing in on the role of AI in writing and storytelling.

Art and design don’t just shape spaces—they shape culture, behaviour, and the way we see the world.

At Businessworld Masterpiece 2026, our Director of Brand Strategy, .hasan, spoke with Interior Designer about the blurring lines between disciplines. Drawing from her experience as an architect, she reflected on how design goes beyond aesthetics to influence emotion, experience, and everyday life.

Today, the responsibility is to take these conversations beyond the design community—to ensure art and design are not just created, but understood, valued, and lived by a much wider audience.

It takes a village—or in this case, a powerhouse collective of architects, developers, and investors—to change the way we work today.

Our Founder and Editorial Director were part of Godrej Ventures’ New Workplace Workshop, along with other developers, architects, investors, and end-users. Rethinking the DNA of Indian offices, the workshop wasn’t just about “office design”, but a critical interrogation of the status quo, challenging the traditional efficiency-led models to ask: What does a workplace truly need to be in 2026?

With a provocation focused on Brand, Sustainability, Technology & Cultural Relevance, the discourse centred on how we, as stakeholders, can ensure the relevance of these properties 10–20 years from today. It’s rare and vital to have such a diverse group shaping this conversation, and we are proud to have contributed from a brand and communications perspective—coming away with insights that will help us evolve our own workplace thinking to stay relevant in the years ahead.

Category 2 of the Epistle Writing Prize 2025 asked participants to ‘Tell a Story’, to shape a world with words and to leave a lasting impression. After much debate among the jury, we are delighted to declare a rare tie between two standout entries.

One of the two winners in this category is Amrita Goyal, whose evocative piece, centred around a roadside champa tree, invites us to look beyond rigid private-public binaries in our environments.

An architect trained in Ahmedabad, Amrita explores how notions of home shape how we narrate, design, and inhabit our worlds. She currently works as a Research Fellow at the Charles Correa Foundation in Goa.
