Renowned Ice cream brand, Baskin Robbins was started by two brothers in law, Burt Baskins and Irv Robbins, as separate ventures in 1948-49. They later collaborated and named the company Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream, in 1953. A local advertising agency recommended them the "31®" logo, representing a flavour for every day of the month. The advertising agency, Ogilvy & Mather is behind the present logo design, which cleverly inscribed 31 in the name.

After much criticism from its users, Whatsapp brings back the​ 'text status' option in the application. The story about how world's most popular search engine got its name is quite interesting. Initially, it was decided that the name of ​the search engine with be 'Backrub' which the company thankfully decided to change. The company later on decided to name it Googol, which refers to the number represented by a 1 followed by one-hundred zeros. However, it just happened that it was misspelt as Google, and that's how it got its name!
