In a strong move to uphold integrity, transparency, and honesty in public service, Superintendent of Police Taru Gusar has issued a strict anti-corruption directive to all officers and personnel under Papum Pare (R) Yupia District Police.
The order directs all police personnel to strictly adhere to conduct rules and anti-corruption laws while performing their official duties. It clearly states that no police officer or personnel shall demand or accept any form of bribe, illegal gratification, or undue advantage from any individual, party, or organization in connection with official work.
The SP warned that any act of corruption or misconduct will be viewed seriously and will invite strict disciplinary as well as legal action under the relevant provisions of law.
Further, all supervisory officers have been instructed to closely monitor subordinate staff and promote ethical conduct within the department.
