Your android phone may slow down gradually if you don't care these simple things ...
1. Visit application manager and "Force Stop" apps that you don't use frequently. It shall save you ram, data. If you want to restart the app, simply click the app icon.
2. Avoid using external call recorders unless it is inevitable.
3. Transfer all possible apps to memory card.
4. Restart your phone once in three days.
5. Avoid using external memory monitoring apps
6. Go to app notification settings and disable notification for unused apps.
7. Avoid using caller identification apps
8. Avoid apps that contains this message in the app store "Contains Ads·Offers in-app purchases" , or use them after switiching off the data.
