Delighted to attend the 80th Independence Day celebration at NanduGoan Government Senior Secondary School under 10th Poklok Kamrang Constituency as the Chief Guest.

The celebration was filled with patriotism, pride and unity, with enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, ex-servicemen, local representatives and the community.

It was a privilege to join everyone in honouring the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and celebrating the spirit of our great nation.

Har Ghar Tiranga 🇮🇳

It was an honour to join Hon’ble Chief Minister Shriman Prem Singh Tamang-Golay Sir and Hon’ble Governor Shri Om Prakash Mathur Ji in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign today.

The spirited rally from MG Marg to Manan Kendra celebrated our shared spirit of patriotism, unity and national pride. also visited the exhibition commemorating Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, paying tribute to the countless lives affected by that tragic chapter of history.

The occasion further marked the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, reaffirming our love and respect for our motherland.

Graced the prestigious MLA Open Football Challenge Cup – Lt. Man Maya Karki Memorial Cup at Sadam Senior Secondary School, Namchi, as part of the Pre-80th Independence Day Celebrations.

The tournament was a wonderful celebration of sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork and youth participation, while paying tribute to the cherished memory of Lt. Man Maya Karki.

Heartfelt appreciation to the organising committee, players, supporters and all stakeholders for making the event meaningful and successful.

As we move towards the 80th Independence Day, let us continue to empower our youth through sports and build a stronger, united Sikkim.

Delighted to be part of the 80th Independence Day Celebration 2026 at Marchak Chuten, where an Open Football Tournament was organised by the Marchak Chuten Primary School Management Committee.

It was an honour to attend the programme as Chief Guest, alongside Deputy Mayor GMC Sara Lama and SKM PRO to HCM Smt Junu Chettri and interact with the organising committee, community members and our enthusiastic young footballers.

Such initiatives are a wonderful way to promote sportsmanship, youth participation, unity and community spirit while celebrating the spirit of our nation.
